My name is Simon Edwardes, and I am married with two children.  I live in Gloucestershire, and my work is in computer systems development.

Having already developed my original site, The Mountains of England and Wales, followed by a similar site for The Mountains of Scotland I received some encouragement from visitors to extend the idea into Ireland.
I have to confess to having never visited Ireland, though I hope one day to complete at least all of the Irish "Munros" (summits over 3000ft).  I hope this site will prove useful to Irish hill baggers.
