This is a website for hill walkers and summit-baggers, attempting to provide
accurate Ordnance Survey grid references for the 3000ft mountain tops, and prominent lower
hills, of Scotland.
There are many recognised lists of hills and mountains in Scotland - most of the main lists
are covered by this website, as well as a list of county tops. Click on the appropriate
link on the adjacent map.
The site shares much of its data with the
Database of British Hills, and could be considered to be a web-based version of the database.
You can use this website to log your own progress against these lists - simply
register a Username and Password (free), and follow the instructions on the registry page.
You will also find a mountain search
facility, and downloadable files for each mountain area containing
GPS waypoints for the summits.
