My name is Simon Edwardes, and I am married with two children.  I live in Gloucestershire, and my work is in computer systems development.

Having already developed my original site, The Mountains of England and Wales, I received some encouragement from visitors to extend the idea into Scotland.
My visits to Scotland are very infrequent (my only mountain conquest being Ben Nevis), and I have no ambitions to tackle any Scottish lists myself, but I hope this site will prove useful to those who do.
