From Talla car park, up the hill at the gatehouse and onto the forestry track. Followed the road to almost the summit past the viewing platform. Keep going and there is a clearing north and then a stone track west to the summit. | JAdair97 | 26/04/2023 |

From parking area at E end of dam (NT 1074 2290). Headed S on road for ~170m then followed fence line NNE to wide break, starting at old stone sheep pen, which leads NE up to a good logging road. Unmapped break (old harvester track) leads due N for the final ~120m to the spot height. | jonglew | 13/06/2022 |

From church CP. Track round CH to approach from S. 2 firebreaks from about 405m. Track, 2 firebreaks and open hillside to HH. Showery day. | chrisbien | 29/07/2017 |
Direct approach from bridge beyond Tweedsmuir church. Mature trees part way, then new plantings; still fairly easy passage between but it'll get harder. There's a summit firebreak north to south but I only found it after struggling part way through the trees. | Colin Crawford | 25/08/2016 |
Staying at the Manse when the trees (first generation) were wee. | fasgadh | 01/04/1980 |
