From the visitor centre, walk up into wood and follow the ridge. Apart from a short scramble over several fallen trees, it is a nice gentle plod.Topographer5715/01/2024
DRC Hogmanay walk, after Torlum via Loch of Balloch. Track west back to the road.TRG31831/12/2023
From parking at NN 827199, 250m SSW on road then track to within a few metres of the summit. Returned 250m then track S (not shown on maps) and across a few fields to the road. Past Loch of Balloch and on to Torlum.TRG31806/12/2023
This time up from the east via Newbigging and continued to Drumlochan via Comrie on the bike. Windthrow cleared up, big area of clearfell now where I got stopped and it was clear that I could probably have got up had I made other choices. The road to the west had been upgraded. Fine weather and colours. Summit area was bracken hell.fasgadh07/11/2023
After long Hill day. Parked at visitors centre. Good marked track up all the way. A few windfall trees to clamber over, they've become part of the path now. Return same way.Lynnebe26/04/2023
From the East - fallen trees have been chopped up. so the way is clear. Highest point seems to be a serious bracken just a few feet South off the trackmaknipe10/10/2022
Parked a bit down the road to the north to make this more of a walk. fallen trees have made this more sporting, nothing dramatic.. very overgrown track, knock mary doesnt see much traffic.hils25/07/2022

Info: attempted after Lurgan Hill . Track from west affected by windthrow. Gave up after convincing bypass landed me in a struggle. Minto got in by a day. Went back 7th Nov 2023 - all clear now. The affected woodland has been largely clear felled and the road upgraded.fasgadh17/05/2022
