Up the track near the Weavers shop and fairly easily to the summit. Weather less damp than most of the rest of the week. | Jon F | 14/06/2022 |
From Lochcarron Weavers. Up the track to Stromemeanach abandoned shieillings then sheep tracks onto ridge and summit. Onto An Sgurr avoiding the steeper ground. | N.Morters | 13/03/2022 |
With An Sgurr from North Strome, during Shills meet. Chosen as forecast dire – but was fine in end. Time doesn’t include cycling back to Strome from high point on Lochcarron – Kishorn road. | Rounsfell | 02/10/2021 |

With Ann Glorious clear sunny summer's day. Stunning 360 degree views from the top, Skye, Torridon, Applecross, Glencarron, Achnashellach hills etc but neck high bracken to negotiate after Stromemeanach. Kudos to lovely lady crofter we met who was scything it with a hand scythe. | Maggie | 01/07/2021 |
From An Sgurr, back over the deer fence then skirted East of pt 246 and up easy slopes to gain the grassy ridge. Superb views from the summit. Took the East ridge down which brings you out at the Weaver centre. | Peterb | 03/04/2021 |
Verge parked on roadside due south of sheilings. Easy walk through pasture and animal tracks much of way to top. Old bracken noted. | willyross | 16/03/2021 |

Parked just along from the Weavers, then headed due west up the hill, following the ridge all the way to the top. Fine views across to the Applecross peninsular. Then on to An Sgurr. | Simon Winton | 19/03/2020 |

From road end for Strome Carranach up to Black Mares Rock then An Sgurr, finally this one. Just over 3 hours. Some deer fences to cross. | NormanW | 13/06/2019 |
No suitable parking near the weaving centre, so up from large-ish passing place at NG 87119 36207, where an ATV track leads up R (NNE) in zig zags to an electric fence - L (SW) around the fence and up S bank of burn to ridge crest, then SW to top. No sign of any path near top, so presumably not a well visited hill. | Isbjorn | 17/02/2019 |

Pretty much used same route as Clive. Absolutely fantastic weather. Much nicer walk than I imagined. Good views to Applecross hills. | jenx | 16/08/2016 |
From pt 22 on tge road, below Strome Carronach. The track followed NW into woods. At its end a path leads to a hill gate. Follow track around under crags and up north to deer gate. Direct line to top. Returned to same point and headed direct to col and to climb Bad a' Chreamha. Lovely viewpoints both, trig on the final top sublime in the warm sunshine. Down the East ridge easily and to Shielings then track and road to start point. | nordicstar | 16/08/2016 |

Lovely round of An Sgurr & Bad a'Chreamha from the east. Parked at end of forest road at 879373, then followed it to end at 865378, where a new path leads W to forest edge and a gate. Followed above cliff line to 861384 where the deer fence has an opening cut in it. Straighforward to An Sgurr summit with wonderful views of Beinn Bhan. Headed to Bad a'Chreamha via very rotten stile over deer fence at 859378, then east of point 246 to reach ridge of Bad a'Chreamha 400m east of summit trig. Descended east ridge to 871370, then to shielings, weavers and along road to start point. | Clive G | 08/05/2016 |

I invented my own way up from North Strome and did not wish to repeat it on the way down, so headed off to bag An Sgurr instead. Lots of steep crags to play on. And terrific views. | Martin R | 24/09/2014 |
