Standard route from Incheril, horrendous weather leading to tricky navigation at the top, leading to a decision to not retrace steps down and not visit the outlying Munro topjdcmongoose31/07/2023

Parked at Incheril car park and took the usual route along the river/loch before ascending into the impressive Coire na Sleaghaich and up to the three Slioch tops and along to Sgurr an Tuill Bhain. Good path down into the coire to pick up the out route. Long hot day but great views, especially towards Fisherfield and An Teallach. With Gillian, Cathy and Jim.richard6904/06/2023

From Incheril CP. Along path then into Coire na Sleaghaich, then bealach N of Sgurr Dubh before tops of Slioch and Sgurr an Tuill Bhain. Descent into coire and retracing steps.welshyboyo27/05/2023
Walked in via footpath from Kinlochewe. Getting to the start of the climbing takes 1 hr, but very unspoilt walk in. Ascent route is qite rough in places but easy enough. Skies clear and light winds. Minimal snow. Views are exceptional all the way up, and especially so from the summit ridge. Due to time, came down via ascent routewychwood27/03/2023
Solo, the forecast was spot on, clag was supposed to lift in the early afternoon north of Skye and that's just what it did as I made the first of two false summits. Clear sky allowed me to get to be the right one. I WOULD of checked. And then last two hours got a soaking but well off the mountain by then.pigerg23/07/2022

This was the first day of a 3-day trip to explore some Munros in the area. This walk was planned to take in Slioch and to get us to a position to attack A' mhaigdean the following day. The walk up and down Slioch was amazing, with great weather throughout. We had parked in Kinlochewe and walked to the footbridge over Gleann Bianasdail where we dropped our tents before going up. We took the mostly well-marked path between Sgurr Dubh and Meall Each, before attacking the summit from the SE via the scramble above the small lochan. After the obligatory pictures at the summit, we took the narrow ridgeline across to Sgurr an Tuill Bhain. Then we headed straight down the slope from there, between Sgurr Dubh and Meall Each, back to our tents. It was getting quite late but we decided to push on to the shores of Lochan Fada via the Gleann. We arrived just after sunset but there was enough light to get set up for tomorrow.Honcho4124/05/2022
Solo from Incheril - took in both summits and descended via Sgùrr an Tuill Bhain - nice little ridge! Went a bit off course on the descent but it was a beautiful sunny day with a decent breeze so wasn't concerned with losing time - total time 6h 17minmproudfoot23/04/2022
A very fine walk with several others from Kinlochewe Hotel. Weather cleared very nicely for the high ridge, very fine views.Jon F12/03/2022

I got another Munro today with Alex McBride, Slioch (981m) and the adjacent Munro Top, Sgurr an Tuill Bhain (934m). I met Alex at the car park behind Kinlochewe School at about 07:30, then hiked along the north side of Loch Maree, before turning off to ascent up into Coire na Sleaghaich, as per the Walkhighlands route info. We met another walker Allie and she tagged along for the rest of the day. There was pretty thick mist on top so no views, until we were approaching the Top, when the cloud strated to break to open the view north and into the Fisherfields, 10:25hrs all in.chillyman820/07/2020

Climbed with Pete the day after we'd done Bealach Mor cycle sportive, before driving home. Big problems on descent, having to turn back up a very steep, slippery muddy gully. Low cloud and mist. Reached trig point summit but not the other one, which is apprently 1m higher!banksey06/09/2015

Solo and my 2nd attempt at the hill. As this time round it was dry it made for an easy enough day. Just after summit it started to pelt down and winds picked up. Nice lil ridgewalk. 19.7km, 1280m, 8hr.bowzi14/07/2014
Nice start of walk (but was very hot and humid on the way back). A bit of slog type Munro. At lochan it's a scree slope up. Fantastic views on top. Route made redeemable by a walk along narrow ridge to Sgurr nan Tuill Bhain.Jhimmy26/06/2014
