With Tony Gordon. From Bridge of Orchy up Beinn Dorain, interesting mountain, rocky slabs and snow fields. Enjoyed descending in snow, linking patches. On to Beinn an Dothaidh, grassy & boggy, cold wind and deteriorating weather.zoob26/05/2015

Walked up only path from Bridge of Orhcy on clear day, some very boggy patches before the main climb, walked up along Beinn Dorains many false summits until the proper top, great views and patches of snow everywhere, walked back down to col and climbed the very wet Beinn An Dothaidh. Had to hurry off the summit because cloud came down, it was pouring with rain before we got to the car. Brilliant 9.5 mile walk after bagging Broad Law and Culter Fell the day previous.DanTrig09/06/2014

Camped at Bridge of Orchy after long train journey from south. Being picked up at 10.30 - plenty of time for Beinn Dorain and Beinn an Dothaidh! Set off at 5, on Dorain by 7, back in 5 hours. Unbelievable weather with perfect early morning cloud inversion, glorious views.Mark Jackson09/07/2013

With friend. From Bridge of Orchy railway station. We walked under the railway line at the station and up the path to Coire an Dòthaidh and the col at 744m. Snow was lying at and above the col. We went south following a path, but deviated off it when it became unclear where it was going. We reached the subsidiary top and then the summit of Beinn Dorain. We returned to the col, taking a somewhat more direct line to the col. We continued to Beinn an Dòthaidh, Beinn a Chuirn and Beinn Mhanach, reaching the road near Auch.pwbellarby06/11/1999
