Roasting day hitting the Beinn Dearg four with John. 17.5 miles, just under 9 hours. The midges were relentless in the morning even as far as the first summit Dearg but by mid-afternoon (and after the second munro), it was too hot even for them.mproudfoot15/08/2020
Solo fr Inverlael, mostly running. Well-broken cloud and sunshine, but a fierce cold wind on this top. Been wanting to tick off this hill (2nd round, of course) for a while!NorfolkPT2108/08/2020

Climbed as part of the Beinn Dearg group, from Inverlael forest. Biked up a track as far as the edge of the trees, then bagged Eididh nan Clach Geala (926m), Meall nan Ceapraichean (977m), Cona' Mheall (977m) and Beinn Dearg (1084m). Beinn Dearg is my 50th Munro this year (there was a couple of Corbetts, Grahams & Donalds too) and 100th since August 2016.chillyman813/10/2019

With Alex. Came down from Meall N C too directly and found wet loose slabby rocks with veneer of wet moss. Better to go further NE and E before descending.gettingonabit19/04/2019

By the standard route south-east from Inverlael up Gleann na Sguaib, then path east to Lochan a' Chnapaich and steep slope north-east to the summit. Returned the same way. Solo.Man of Kernow127/10/2017

4th and last munro of the day. Although the smallest it was the hardest to summit. 2nd cairn was highest point and the wind was very powerful as we rounded the summit and began the very long walk out to the car at Inverlael. Done with M and S.dave neilson14/10/2017

MMC weekend in Inverlael. Bein Dearg 4 with Robert Wight, Eunice Coop, John Berry and Jeremy Idle. Lovely sunny blue sky day with cloud inversion to west. Microspikes. on mixed neve snow and rock.alexmaclennan14/03/2015
Fourth day of five-day trip with DW & SL. Staying in Aultguish. Linda joined us for this day too, but did not do all four peaks with us. Classic Beinn Dearg horseshoe from Inverlael. This was an easier day than expected. The ascent to the ~850m col is very gentle, making it very easy. Good weather, with a haze 'inversion'. Solo, 1st of 4. A cracker of a day other than the van not fitting in the carpark and having to drive up the road and cycle back...up to the fence that the 'walk' starts. Excellent path until having to break N to get on ridge. 2hr15 from gate.bowzi29/09/2013
