Club outing to Beinn Ruadh via Puck's Glen. Fine multi topped hill. | lordtonult | 31/03/2024 |
Up the forest track from Gairletter. Stronchullin Hill and Meall Dubh then back. | Tisteln | 21/11/2023 |
Second visit after a round of Beinn Ruadh and Stronchullin Hill. I counted five distinct tops along the ridge though the stated one does look to be the highest. Descent to Inverchapel was of the interesting type | Colin Crawford | 07/04/2023 |
After exploring Puck's Glen i continued to the end where a notice says 'Acess to open fell'. I continued to climb on western side of Puck's glen before ctossing over easily then started to climb encountering the vatious knolls en-route. In fact i even went back as i thought i missed one. Time was running out so opted for Blairmore hill following fenceline then grassy track.. | Dazingdale | 27/05/2022 |
Came over from Stronchullin Hill. A nice little multi-topped ridge. Solo. Descended south to pylons then followed stream downhill to meet track then forest road. | Dangerous Dave | 08/04/2022 |
A tump round from strone, blairbeg hill, blairmore hill, meall dubh, stronchullin hill. | robertphillips | 08/07/2020 |
3-hill tree-free circuit from forest road, drove in to NS 1639 8583, forest roads good but stony, mind the ground clearance. This Tump has several summits, all visited, one could even be higher. Too cold and windy to think of hand levelling! | RHW | 13/04/2019 |
Started at Inverchapel. Lost the path near pilons but found again. Very cloudy and navigated using gps; no visibility from top but nice views on the descent. 5.2 miles 1147 ft elevation. | nell1583 | 19/01/2019 |
Done after Blairbeg and Blairmore, tussocks aplenty. Plans to continue to Stronchullin were scotched by the arrival of heavy rain so I made my escape down Puck's Glen | Colin Crawford | 12/09/2017 |
Strone-Blairbeg Hill-Blairmore Hill-Meall Dubh-Stronchullin Hill-Beinn Ruadh-Sligrachan Hill-Ardentinny. Dipped below mist and was able to see our abode from the summit. | campagvelocet | 07/09/2016 |
