Up the tracks from Inverlael. There's a useful firebreak N of Glensguaib marked on the 1:25k with that leads to the hill track. On to Meall Dubh.sclater05/03/2024
Standard route from Inverlael CP. ATV track now keeps going and almost reaches the W side of the plateau. Topographically not the most dramatic of hills but the views from the summit are outstanding.benalder28403/03/2024
Solo from Inverlael car park. The only tricky part of the nav is to find the unmarked ATV track base (a gap in the trees) at 205855. Follow this track straight up and you can access the open moor via the deer gate at the top of the track. A good estate track takes you most of the way, then some heather/grass bashing to attain the summit (unnamed on OS 1:50,000) by a small, pretty lochan. (actually Beinn Breac and named on 1:25,000). Beautiful, clear winter's day when I did it – you can see for MILES. Assynt, Coigach, An Teallach, Fisherfield, Fannichs, Beinn Dearg complex, Seana Bhraigh etc etc. Return the same way.DampandDusty03/12/2023
Up tracks and grassy upper slopes from Inverlael.davidpettit8401/06/2023
Parking area at Inverlael. Over the first bridge at 191854, then good forestry track to 206855, then grassy track through the woods leading to another forestry track and the gate at 207859. From the end of the main track followed an ATV track for a while but soon lost it and just plodded up easy grassy slopes to the fairly flat but atttractive summit with its nearby lochan and superb views to An Teallach, Assynt and Beinn Dearg. Retraced steps hastily to evade incoming rain.Owen B20/05/2023

Very reasonable conditions today, and this hill is much more interesting to visit on a good day than it would seem like on the map.Alex C30/11/2022
From Inverlael along forest tracks to NH 205857, then hill track to T-junction, faint track almost to summit then across top to cairn. Magnificent viewpoint with much of Assynt (and more!) visible.MichaelF19/05/2022
Bike from Inverlael CP to 205857, then good track, then straight up. Nice wee hill. Lots of wee jcb type diggers rebogging the bogs and several cape wrath trail-ers, none of whom appeared to be enjoying it much.daviemore28/04/2022
From Inverlael car park. Walked path south of river but map does not reflect what is on the ground. Found the bridge eventually. Pleasant walk after the forest. Headed north from tall cairn to the summit. Came back on forest road on north side of river. With CM. 4.5 hours.bolton17/09/2021
Inverlael CP, forest roads by bike, atv track to last bend on 1:50000, then old atv track from bend to 650m contour. Round loch to top.iangalbraith20/05/2021
Went up forestry tracks from Inverlael then ATV track to about 1 mile from summit. Then straight up and bagged summit. Nice hill and no issues. Soloassynt_bob15/05/2021

MC JC O. Hot day via forest tracks from W of the hill walkers cp. Feint ATV track to within 700m of summit. O swim at top lochan.Martin6625/04/2021

Cycled in via forestry tracks up to water supply dam near 208857. Then crossed forestry boundary fence and headed to track on map (ATV quality) to its end, then up easy-walking hillside to summit with nearby calm lochan.willyross09/04/2019
Cycled to forest edge from Inverlael CP. Good views of the Beinn Dearg hills and Seana Bhraigh.IanHHill18/08/2018
Solo. From the Walkers Carpark at Inverlael up forest tracks and then ATV track from track junction at NH218871. The ATV track goes up to the summit plateau to the west of the cairn which marks the summit. Excellent views.pwbellarby11/06/2018
From Inverlael on hot sunny day. Beinn Bhreac - Meall Dubh - Creag Deabharan.RobertP25/05/2018

From Inverlael, cycled via bridge at 191854 as far as 206855. From there, a rough and steep track heads up north through the forest, across a bigger track, onto the open hill and continues as high as 500m. Some fine views of Beinn Dearg group despite intermittent hill fog and showers.Topographer5730/08/2017
From Inverlael. Didn't find the atv track but the going was easy. Pleasant hill with good views. Galltywenallt25/08/2017
Parked near the boathouse on main road and cycled to bottom of footpath, Easy walk up to wide open summit. Great views west in particular.Campbell Singer22/05/2017
From Inverlael. Heavy snow falling at summit and on descent, but sunny at sea level.NormanW22/04/2017
From the walkers car park at Inverlael. Took a circuitous route over Carn Mor at 246870. Then over quite haggy terrain to Beinn Breac itself. Stunning views at the summit and also great views down Loch Broom from a prominent point 208884, well worth a detour instead of heading straight back down the track.Peterb07/02/2017
After being told there was stalking this early in July in Glen Achatt we came round to Leckmelm and climbed Breac and it's eastern top. Good ground on the whole and better weather than forecast.nordicstar28/07/2016
Rather a long trek between the two tops.jenx28/07/2016
Pine Marten seen crossing forestry track at NH204852.h3cla03/06/2016
Sneaked this one in during a brief respite in between squally and very heavy rain/snow. From Inverlael, an easy walk up through the forest, onto a land rover track and then an atv track almost to the top of the hill. Going was good on firm snow once on the moor. The hill doesn't look at all exciting from below, but the summit plateau was very atmospheric in the snow, with mist coming and going. It's a great view point too, even caught a glimpse of Ben Hope. Wildlife notes: there was an eagle around most of the way up, and it came within about 10 feet of me, flying below me along the river. This was followed by snow buntings escorting me down the hill. Nice!Gill18/02/2016
Beinn Eilideach, Meall Cruaidh, Creagan na Radhairc, Meall Dubh, Beinn Bhreac, Creag Deabharan from Leckmelmjimbloomer10/04/2015
A long day to do this, the two nearest Graham tops and, across the valley to the north, Meal nam Bradhan. About an hour each way up and down Strath Ochell on bike plus 9.75 hours walking in very difficult conditions. Very wet thawing snow and where no snow running with meltwater, absolutely saddened ground and got wet feet in deep stream crossing in first half hour.dickscroop02/04/2015
start of 5 days graham bagging, from carpark up through wood, good path then to summit with renee, met other walkers midweek on grahams thats rare.robertphillips22/05/2014

Ascent From east side of A835 north of Allt Raon a'Chroisy. Did both 660m contour rings to be sure I'd done it.Alan Moore02/06/2011
From Inverlael. Into forest across stream uphill on zig zags to top road. To locked gate at end of forest steeply up on track to open moorland. Uphill over firm dry moor onto wide plateau and to top at 12.30. Very cold with strong wind. Seanna Bhraigh, Deargs, Fannichs, S Mhor, Ghoblach, Summer Isles, B Mor Coigach, B an Eoin, Stac Poly, Cul Beag, Cul Mor and Suilven. Magnificent.arranc16/06/2007
