A walk from Killin where we had a Freckles weekend. Walked past the dam for about a 1km, and then followed the mist to the summit. Lots of tarmac but we managed a pint at the end so were not too tired of tar.ragudave05/05/2023
Drove up to 634323. Last mile a bit rough with mntainman. Directly to summit and then headed SE to the Simm. Mist and light drizzle.bolton10/01/2023

From Auchmore on foot, not realising road was drivable practically to summit! D’oh. Nice day, sunny on descent. Rounsfell18/04/2022
Surprised to find that this is a splendid walk, despite the tarmac bashing. Parked at the gate below the mast; the road is steep, winter tyres recommended if at all icy. Fallen trees have been cleared. The walk along the hydro road is lovely, great views, which you can appreciate with the easy walking. I went up the hill from the hairpin to the SE, easy going on grassy sheep tracks. Splendid views of dozens of your favourite hills from the top.Gill01/03/2022
With Brian and Janice, from the CP in Glen Ogle. Lots of snow along the track in 7 hours.Play2End25/02/2022
With PJ, AJ. Parked close to where the Rob Roy Way meets the south Loch Tay road. East up the good track past the reservoir, leaving the track SSW of the summit. Retraced steps. Windy but dry and bright, soft snow higher up.Owen B21/02/2022
Bike from house to within 450 metres of the trig.alda16/01/2022

Parked at NN583322 (end of forest track S), walked briefly along road then took track to Loch Breaclaich continuing to haripin bend about 1km E of the loch, ascended ridge by a faint track before the hairpin, and up to summit of Creag Gharbh, continued across boggy col to Meall Odhar, descended S to track and back to road. From Auchmore, up Dam track to sharp RH bend then up to Creag Gharbh and round to Meall Odhar and Ceann Greagach, back to track and down to the car before the heavens opened.TRG31828/03/2021
I bagged Creag Ghrabh (637m) today, a Graham, south east of Killin. I started off at Achmore Bridge on the south side of Loch Tay, then I followed the Rob Roy’s Way up a surfaced track to Lochan Breaclaich, with the final 140m of ascent up boggy slopes, covered in 2 inches of powdery snow. Great views in all directions, particularly of Ben Lui, Ben Vorlich and Loch Tay.chillyman829/12/2020

Navigated in low cloud from Meall Odhar. Steep descent to the Rob Roy Way then walked back to Killin for drinks at The Falls of Dochart Inn. Nice chat to William Hill, who caught the biggest salmon in Loch Tay!Dangerous Dave22/10/2019
Pleasant walk up through forest. Open track from the aerial up to the dam. Above the dam cut up the hill. Good views of the Loch Tay with Kenmore at one end and Killin at the other.elizyanne15/10/2019
Parked about 2 km or so shy of the reservoir (just next to a large, but unlocked, gate) then a clockwise circuit of Creag Gharbh, Meall Odhar & Ceann Creagach. Water level low, fly count high.summitter03/08/2019

From minor road near Killin, via Rob Roy Way.Grinner24/11/2018
Drove up track for 2km towards reservoir (tarmac) to camp. A Graham and 5 Graham tops: Creag garbh; Meall Odhar; Ruadh MNeall; Meall daimh; Cul na Creag Am bacon (not named on map) plus the 609m top on way back.dickscroop19/08/2018
We had 2 cars so decided to walk from Ardreonaig to Achmore Burn (1 mile E of Killin) via the Rob Roy Way, diverting off to go up Meall Odhar and Creag Gharbh. Between the two tops, a matter of walking over the easiest ground- joining the E ridge below steep rough ground, N of the tiny lochan shown on the map. We descended S across heather and grass/runnels, the latter ground OK as it was so dry. A satisfying walk, as point-to points are, great views over the Tay valley.pwheeler29/05/2018
Here for the trigpoint. TP:UK log: We can see this trig from our lodge at Morenish, so decided it would be great to bag it. Longish walk (probably about 8km round trip) but only the last 500m was heather bashing, wee Hamish had lots of carries but didn't want to stay in the carrier! We were rewarded with great views from the top.thejackrustles22/05/2018
