Usual route from Muiseal. Very cold day, in cloud above 600m. Quite windy too. 4 hrs up and down, quite glad it was a short day. Snow from 450m and froze terrain above 650mwychwood29/12/2023
Main path up then alternative descent along Leitir Mhuiseil and down by the waterfall. Cold and snowy - misty on the summit. My final Munro - only took 25 years!Geoff Briggs25/11/2023

3 hrs up and down before dusk. Stunning views with lots of weather on local hills, but we were fortunate enough to have clear views all around.Nicky C16/08/2022
This was my first Munro. Lovely sunny day with a light breeze. Great view from the summit. Really enjoyed it. Walk up and down with my dad using the standard tourist route :-)Seumas Kerr03/06/2022

With Pete. From the car park at NC 461476. Lovely path and good views for most of the day, although a shame the summit was in the cloud. Wild camped just above the car park after descending.millionmts07/08/2021

Had a smashing 7 mile route planned up the tourist route from My ideal to first do Ben Hope then the two other tops on the way down. In the end was pleaded enough to manage the Munro. Snow from 400m. Calf deep from 700m. Total white out from 800m. Only way could tell was going up hill was because it was still hard work. Blinding snow on summit only time for a quick photo then off on a SSW compass bearing 5 miles in 6 hours. A great day.mntainman06/05/2021
