From our holiday cottage at Sangamore (just by the mast) to track at 412673. Up track all the way to the col (marker posts), from the col an ATV track continues nearly all the way to the summit of Meall Meadhonach. Retraced steps back to col, then along ridge to pick up another large ATV track to the summit of Beinn Ceannabeinne. Back down the ATV track to meet the path in. Then at the path junction took a right to come out on the main road east of Smoo Cave. Along the road then investigation of the cave, then back along road to cottage. 10.6 miles 2000ft of climbing. Under 4hrs 20 walking time. Really pleasant walk.JulieB19/06/2022

Parked near Portnancon road end. Straight line up. after the first third it was straightforward due to the ferocity of heather burning. Cracking day, great views. Took just over two hours.elizyanne29/04/2019

A nice walk in the snow, along the footpath starting above Smoo cave (space for one car) then ATV tracks to the summit. A bit boggy, but the snow made it easy. Fine views from the top, and splendid sea views from the path. Hailstones the size of petit pois on the way back.Gill27/12/2017
