Did this walk anticlockwise today to rebel against being told to walk clockwise to minimise erosion. I mean come on! Meall na Aighean W top, Meall na Aighean, Meall Liath, Carn Mairg, Meall a'Bharr, Meall Garbh E Top, Meall Garbh, An Sgorr, Carn Gorm. Also 2 swims, one at pool below rickety bridge & one in River Lyon at the allowed carpark. Enjoyed my rebellious walk.Lynnebe26/07/2023

The Glen Lyon Horseshoe from Invervar, following the estate instruction to do the route in a clockwise direction, taking in the 4 Munros and most of the Tops. Parking in the car park is now reserved for residents in the summer season, so all walkers must use the large layby 1 km to the west. Visited Carn Gorm, An Sgorr, Meall Garbh, Meall Garbh E Top, Meall Luaidhe, Meall a'Bharr, Carn Mairg, Meall Liath, Meall na Aighean E Top, Meall na Aighean, Meall na Aighean W Top. Splendid weather with views from Ben Nevis to Ben Macdhui. 27km with 1700m ascent, taking 10 hours.silveracorn_alan01/06/2023

Did the round with my dog. In the clan for the whole route so didn't see a thing!emily06/05/2023
Disappointing access arrangements (reported by others and still in place now) in Fortingall mean the obvious circuit of Meall na Aighean and associated Simms / Sub-Simms isn’t possible. My solution was to park at NN7146647746, cross the stile at NN7163447826, take the right track to a gate at NN7172647927. The gate gives access to tracks west / east from which a circuit of the hills can be made. Notes: I couldn’t find the footbridge marked at NN721496 on the 2:25000 map but the stream was fordable when I was there. Also the nearby bothy marked on the map is now a ruin.BaggerGutt27/04/2023

Out and back to Meall na Aighean. Aborted Càrn Mairg group round due to unforecast heavy snowfall and limited visibility. Start of track at Invervar re-routed approx 50 yds west of phone box. Estate sign 'suggests' walking a clockwise round for deer management purposes. Note on parking. Six space Estate car parking at NN 66611 48219 closed due to diseased trees. Clearway in force around Invervar. Parked at NN 65563 47850 and walked 3/4 miles back to Invervar.screeleep13/04/2023

Car park full so kept going West until a big layby with room for quite a few around 0.75 miles along, any cars parked on the verges were ticketed when we returned. Lovely day down low, miserable wind up top, relentless for the round, got the 4 and a few topsPDuncan8225/06/2022

Started from the carpark behind the telephone box at Invervar. Arrived at 07:30 and were the 2nd car in a carpark that only holds around cars. Great weather and easy walking on mainly good paths. Completed the circuit of 4 Munros in 6 hours.gneill20/06/2022

Càrn Gorm, Meall Garbh, Càrn Mairg and Creag Mhòr from Invervar. Solo. Damaged muscle made slow progress but with care the route was completed successfully. Note. 6 spaces in car park in Invervar only. Village now a clearway for 2 miles, no parking available outside of car park which is not enough spaces. Car park apparently closed during stalking season meaning no parking. Estate signs unwelcoming, telling you to stay on path, follow markers and go in defined direction!meltdiceburg01/06/2022

Parked at Invervar. Started off cloudy was very windy on Carn Gorm. As we left the summit the cloud started to lift and break. The rest of the route was in glorious sunshine with a breeze and great views. We saw a Golden Plover, Meadow Pipits and Stonechats. Took in 4 Munro’s the 3 tops and deleted top. Cooled off in a muddy pond full of tadpoles and pond skaters. Only saw 2 people on the tops. Time taken 7 hours 20 minutes for 12.75 miles.isabelle18/08/2021
