Track and good parking at NJ 4220 0804. Track over-grown and much wind throw. Forest to NW felled from NJ 4279 0841. From here best to walk NW side of forest, on felled side. A good grassy trod (remains of mapped track) starts here to exit of forest. Track then good.carole engel25/07/2022
Taking a round trip of the summits from Tarland.Pilotralph 09/11/2021
From the north, parking at the Gallows Hill track. Wandered round various random tracks and paths to the W in the interests of exploration, rejoined the main track, then the branch track along the ridge (new grouse butts) direct to the top. Down to to Overlook Loch and exploration of paths around Tillypronie, back to the loch and then the lovely path to Reinacharn, up the track to Lazy Wells Lochs and back to the start. A nice short walk.Gill201/08/2021

Here for the trigpoint. TP:UK log: 50th Birthday trig bagged. Parked near Little Corrie and followed the mapped tracks up, back via grouse butts and Lazy Well and Reinacharn Lodge for a lovely circular birthday walk. Now off for some bubbles!thejackrustles14/12/2020
10 mile 4 top circular from Boig with L and the dogs. This hill is part of the recently sold £10.5 million Tillypronie Sporting Estate (shooting and fishing) with the main house below to the south-once popular with Queen Victoria and John Brown (hard not to think of Judie Dench & Billie Connolley). Recent owner Philip Astor had his groundsman cut in the heather a 100ft playboy bunny outline -for amusement - as you do. Its since been largely burnt away by controlled heather burning. We used the basic shooters hut by Lazy Well for a lazy break - it needs some of the £10.5 million spending on it to bring it up to scratch.Chris Pearson21/07/2020
