Revisit to check that I had climbed it. Yes, I had, on a circuit from Uig years ago, but it's such a nice little walk, I was pleased to be back. Easy going and fine views of Skye's tourist hotspots, and the more exclusive crags, lochs and landslips below this hill. The car park below the Quiraing is absolutely massive now, and there were diggers at work expanding it even more. Beginning to look like the views of car parks in the Peak District. Parking a nightmare, so many other tourists! Dry, part sunny, windy, cold, good views.iangalbraith03/05/2019

with GmacT. After ascending Quiraing, circled round and down to road and up other side. Have to verge to right to avoid gully as heading for summit.elizyanne16/04/2019
A day off from Winter Munro bagging, on account of the awful weather forecast. Up from the upper parking area at 'Quiraing Pass'. A squelchy start and along a grassy ravine which gave some shelter from the driving Westerly rain - found a path which lead to the top - followed it back and it met the road at the lower parking area.Isbjorn12/01/2019

After a morning at Fairy Glen, I drove to Bealach Ollasgairte and claimed one of the very few parking places. High NE winds and clouds with a base quickly changing between 1200 and 1800 ft made this a quick bag. Cloud tore across the summit and wouldn't quite lift so the most memorable part of this walk was finding a ledge on the escarpment a degree or two N of W of Cleat for fine views of the Dun Dubh group in the great landslip between Cleat and Bioda Buidhe.pwheeler16/06/2016
Revisit after an exciting 2 hours on the two stacks (Dubh + Ruma), for some photos. Sunny pm after early rain.RHW08/05/2016

Parked in the upper car park for The Quiraing (NG 440 679). Took good path along the escarpment edge to the summit. Visited all possible heathery mounds that might have been the highest point. Returned by route of ascent. With ALT, OJT and Lyndsey on a misty cloudy day, though rain kept off.Man of Kernow130/10/2014

Trotternish Ridge Race CraigW18/05/2013
A long superb multi top run with Darren on a sunny day along the length of the Trotternish ridge from the bealach (left the car)to The Storr- then hitched back. Dramatic pinnacles and cliffs abound. Took in the eye catching Cleat-a steep sided little hill from the start before a steep grassy climb between crazy pinnacles (how to climb them ? a rope and axes for the turf maybe - but how to protect?) up onto the main ridge.Chris Pearson20/07/2012
