With Yeltzbagger. Perfect day. Tried to go up a couple of dayscago but the path was blocked off after heather bur ing got out of control. The result is disastrous but we had beautiful weather and incredible views. Saw a golden eagle. On its first two visits the crows went crazy. On the summit if came very close to us while we ate our sandwiches. | Stevie n Tay | 12/03/2024 |

A lovely cliff top walk from Camustianavaig. Ring Ouzels en route for added interest. | summitter | 22/05/2023 |
With Dave Roeder. Parked at Tianavaig Bay and followed the track and footpath round the headland and up the grassy ridge. Wonderful clifftop route, obviously very popular, though we met nobody. Fair view from the summit (18:35), though hazy. Finished 19:35, just in time to buy fish and chips in Portree. | dbb | 14/05/2023 |
Up and back from the shore of Tianavaig Bay. | SpudGunn | 22/02/2023 |

Out and back from Camustianavaig with R, following obvious path. | Dan Baddeley | 27/06/2021 |
From Camastianavaig shore car park. North to red post box, then NE up driveway to 'Hill Path' sign, the followed path to top (mainly path). Returned down to coastal path, following a mix of paths and animal tracks, but this was not particularly easy to follow, apart from going in general direction of grassy meadow area on shoreline. | willyross | 26/11/2020 |
Out & back from Camastianavaig following paths round cliff edge. Fantastic hill. On own. | MorecambeMonkey | 15/05/2019 |
From Camustianavaig along good path just above the beach to near Clach Dhu, up past McQueens Loch to top passing thro' mini quiraing area, back down ridge. | daviemore | 13/04/2019 |
A Skye Marilyn with a path, what bliss, what joy. From Camastianavaig shore car park. N to red post box, then NE up driveway to 'Hill Path' sign pointing L. Up grassy corridor between two fences to wooden gate. Path is unclear after this gate - it squeezes slightly L between two birch trees at the L end of a steep grass bank, then traverses R above this bank. A few false summits but these are offset by the magnificant setting and views. Enjoy the lovely SHORT grass. | Isbjorn | 22/01/2019 |
Plan B after Stac an Armin trip was cancelled. Hill path from bay up onto south ridge. Steep drops to the east. Conditions perfect bar slight haze. | Topographer57 | 22/11/2018 |
A grand wee hill with reasonable gradients and a good path with fantastic views. One of the best. | NormanW | 03/08/2018 |

Absolute gem. Park at foreshore in Tianavaig, and in 100m follow the signed hill path all along the lovely cliffs to the summit, with awesome views. Even had a visit from a sea eagle but he didn't fancy my ginster. Must be best non Munro, Corbett, Graham etc on Skye | Thearlaichdubh | 20/08/2015 |

Bagged on a nice and sunny day, glorious views. | 3fatties | 10/04/2015 |
Parked at Tianavaig bay and followed the escarpment to the top. Continued north until it was possible to drop down and return under the cliffs heading SSE to the shore. A path along the shore returned us to the start. Fine views of the landslip and the sound. Under the cliffs feels remote. | mindlessflogger | 24/12/2014 |

MMC Skye weekend in Carbost Old Inn. With Robert Wright. Forecast terrible. Parked Camustianavaig. Missed path and ascended through heather. Fine walk. Good views and some sun and drouth. 2 hours. We then drove back home | alexmaclennan | 15/09/2013 |
Enjoyed a pleasant unhurried walk up from Camastianavaig on the good path. A bit too unhurried though because once I reached the top it poured down for the whole way back to Portree. | Alex C | 12/09/2013 |
With Mora, from Trainavaig Bay picnic area | BLACKHILL | 02/10/2012 |
There is a 'Hill Path' sign on the side of the gate to 8 Camastianavaig - 50m from parking at Tianavaig Bay. The path goes E initially to gain the cliffs of the S ridge. Superb hill. Views to Quinag/Uists etc | jimbloomer | 18/06/2012 |
Climbed from Camustianavaig. Good path and views ascending ridge. Fantastic views of Trotternish and the Cuillin. Good family walk. | quadbarrel | 04/04/2012 |
A walk before a wedding. The day before. Lovely. Great value of walk | VerySlowPlodder | 13/02/2011 |
Trig revisit. Fine summit but bit of a grey day and less dramatic than my 1999 visit. Quick beeline today (en route from Harris) from high end of Camastianavaig. Recommend the S ridge for the full experience. | RHW | 18/09/2009 |
