The Ochils Mountaineering Club had a trip to Glen Brittle Campsite planned for last weekend, but the forecast meant most of us bailed on it. A few hardy souls went up anyway and I joined them on Wednesday. On Thursday, Karen Webber, Andy Moffat, Colin Craig and I, bagged Sgurr Mhic Coinnich (948m) a Munro. Ascending the An Stac screes from Coire Lagan (which was very unsettling). Then Karen and Colin lead the two pitches, so I could second up onto the Innaccesible Pinnacle (986m) my 190th Munro. That was some experience in the breezy conditions on an exposed shard of rock......chillyman804/05/2023

Day 1 of Cullin Ridge Traverse. Francis Blunt (guide) and Robert Wight (MMC) Sunny, warm, high cloud and perfect viz. 11 hour day. Stacked abseil from West Face of In Pinalexmaclennan31/05/2014
First walk in The Cuillins - absolutley stunning scenary - the best I have seen of anywhere in the UK. Menacing beauty! Did the walk with Rach & Gillian from Skye Guides. Weather was perfect - not a cloud in the sky and the sun was shining. The InPin was good fun and not as difficult as expected. Could be solo'd but best to abseil off. Also did Sgur Mhic and joining ridge. One of my best days in the hills. Descended the scree slopes at the back down to the Lochan which was surprisingly fun and fast to get down. Great great day!scholesy13/10/2013
