| Beware Fairy Pools CP (NG424258) is £8. I parked for free at NG419251 (sp ht 49). Track then old atv from NG 39546 23070 helped across bad ground. Truagh Mheall (surprising hard to get off), An Cruachan, Beinn Staic, Beinn A Bhraghad. Began descent from NG407249 - S then SE - to logging track (full of brash) at NG410 246, leading to good track at NG409244 | carole engel | 02/06/2023 |
| From the higher fairy pools car park 423263. Straight across road and over a gate onto the track. Turned right. Left up 3rd firebreak (417267). Bit of a path up left hand side of stream, until out of trees, going underfoot not bad but it was dry. Followed ridgeline ti trig, then around crater, to summit. Followed ridge down to Bealach Eadar Da Bheinn, a bit rough underfoot in parts but not too boggy, then followed bits of animal tracks up Beinn Staic. Followed ridgeline down grassy slopes to Bealach Brittle. It is possible to descend avoidng the trees. Up track to high point and ATV track over a gate then followed bits of animal tracks and ATV track to An Cruachan. Back down to Bealach Brittle then followed higher path around back to gate opposite car park and across gate and back to car park. Pleasant 8.9mile circuit with good views of Rhum, Eigg and the Cuillins. | JulieB | 21/05/2023 |

| The standard route up the forestry track from Glen Brittle.
