Straightforward out and back from the parking area below the dam.Geoff Briggs10/02/2019
From small parking area near Loch an Daimh dam (NN 51191 46376). Followed the stony track then onto a faint path marked with a cairn. Very boggy in places, best to head to the right of the peat hags, the path directly through them is awful as I discovered on descent! Once at the SE Top easy ridge walking to the Munro summit cairn.david23020101/11/2018

Robin Howie’s first Munro (Stuchd an Lochain) after his hip replacement. With a friend I drove to the Loch an Daimh dam as we also wanted to do Meall Buidhe. We left car there, going over Sròn Chona Choirein to arrive Stuchd an Lochain. Robin and many friends arrived about the same time having climbed it from the south. Celebration. We returned to the dam, deviating slightly off-route in the mist. We then went up Meall Buidhe by as direct a route as possible and returned the same way. I drove quite fast via the hydro-electric road to Killin so that we could join the celebration dinner provided by Robin.pwbellarby28/06/2003
