From the layby at distillery. We decided to head for the col between Dungoyne and Dunfoyn. Quite hard work. Descent much easier by heading for Earls Seat path.Crumblie202/03/2023
Parked at layby just north of distillery and followed the earls seat path (this is new, wasnt one when i did that many years ago) to just north of drumiekill knowes, where a handy atv track goes right to the top. short sharp shock, forgot how steep....hils17/02/2023

Round of Dumgoyne, Dumfoyn, Garloch, Clachertyfarlie Knowes, Earls Seat from layby just north of Glengoyne Distillery. Straightforward but very wet underfoot on the plateau after prolonged wet weather. Limited parking at the start: only one space left at 09.05 on a dull midweek November day.TRG31825/11/2020

Earl's Seat, Clachertyfarlie Knowes, Dunfoyn and Dumgoyne on a cold, crisp, freezing day. Brilliant views north and south.Chris Mac01/12/2017
After Dumgoyne. Followed path ENE towards Earls Seat to about 400m contour. Then faint path S to summit. Returned to Earls Seat path, and followed path in descent round the N side of Dumgoyne to re-join outward path. Some extra re-ascent, but all quite easy.Minto07/07/2017
From the layby next to Dumgoyne distillery. A nice hill. Alan Moore02/05/2017
A circuit of Dumgoyne and Dumfoyn in a sunny interlude on a dreich weekend. Parked by the distillery.Path over Pipe Track to summit, then along the Earl's Seat path, until a track branches right to Dumfoyn. A steep descent to a path SE then S by a wooded glen to the Pipe Track. Enjoyable providing you could stay upright on steep slippery slopes - which I did most, but not all, the time.Nick Down119/03/2017
From distillery. N side of Dumgoyne, E side of Drumiekill Knowes. Paths / tracks all the way. Passed a man who was heading N from Dumfoyn.chrisbien27/02/2017
