Done as end to end along the ridge over Beinn na Cro Glas Bheinn Bheag from Torrin to Luib. Very pleasant walk. Path all the way on the ascent route.JulieB21/06/2019
From S - P off B8083. Quite an impressive hill - there is by & large a path all the way.ger23/05/2019
Out & back from Loch Slapin. Lovely narrow summit ridge, with views all around while all the higher tops were smothered in clag. On own.MorecambeMonkey22/05/2019
From the bridge over the Abhain an t-Stratha Mhoir, on the B8083. A large part of the hillside is enclosed within a BWF, with gated access - 50 metres to the L (W) of the gate, a path starts up the subordinate S ridge, on the true R bank of the burn coming down the gully line separating the subordinate ridge from the main S ridge.Isbjorn24/01/2019
An excellent afternoon stroll from the head of Loch Slapin. There's a very good path all the way, parallel with the fence at first (outside the enclosed land), then following the sub-ridge to the west of the stream. Wonderful views all the way, and steep enough to seem like a proper mountain.Gill17/07/2018
Lot of descent and ascent between Beinn dearg and this marilyn. But worth it. Enjoyed the views of Bla behind and red cuillins. excellent. Company: Soloiandesbottes14/05/2018
With Luna, utterly smashed it, ascent in 52 minutes and descent in 33BigNick13/05/2018
Bright sunny warm and blue as we travel down the Ealaghol Road Beinn na Cro beckons. We ascend from the south (the Black and Red Cullins all visable for the first time this week! all around). Treated to a Sea Eagle display as it circles higher and higher above finally disappearing into the blue. Steep descent to lochan Statha Mhoir along base of Glen and along east side of Loch na Sguabaidh.briandavies29/04/2018
Out and back trade route. Mist and soft snow at top. 15m rest at top, 10 half-down. Rounsfell01/12/2017

From the head of Loch Slapin - a smashing hill.Chris Peart18/10/2016
From the N end of Loch Slapin. Cloud was clearing all the time, and with the threat of rain gone, this was very pleasant, with a path all the way. The stony upper part of the ridge narrowed near the summit; I continued 100 m to its N end for some shelter from a SSW wind. This gave good views in glimpses when the clouds were torn apart, and as it cleared completely, the gusts strengthened and I had to shelter at times to avoid being blown off my feet. Once off the higher part of the ridge the wind was no longer a problem and I could enjoy the very beautiful views over Loch Slapin in front of me as I descendedpwheeler22/06/2016
Wow. A great easy hill. From the south and enjoyed the views of Marsco and Blaven.jenx14/02/2016
From Loch Slapin side raod below. Direct up ridge, path of sorts can be found. Brilliant snowy top with 360 degree views, fantastic hillnordicstar14/02/2016
from Luib to bealach then plod across bog and heather to climb up side of burn. Into howling gale and rain showers, along ridge but worth it when the sun came out. 999th Scottish MarilynThearlaichdubh21/08/2015
Described as a minor hill in one book, I thought we should have been tackling something more ambitious as we left the car from the bridge NW of Torrin. Soon we had been battered and soaked by a storm of sleet as a cumulonimbus past over head. Once this had drifted south, the wind dropped and the sun came out giving magnificent views of Blaven etc to the north. Shortly after reaching the airy top, the sky darkened and the hills to the north started to go out one by one. However, what made this hill truly magical, was the sight of a Golden Eagle just over head, effortlessly riding the gust front of the approaching storm, rising higher and higher before disappearing over the princesses cairn on Beinn na Caillich. Minor hill indeed - there's no such thing. Visited the spar cave (tidal) and Dun Ringill after.mindlessflogger20/02/2015
Solo. From Head of Loch Slappin at start of path to Luib. Went up something of a path on east side of fence but had to climb fence. Should have gone up west side of fence. A splendid hill even if modest by Skye standards.pwbellarby27/09/2014
From the south. Delightful little ridge walk.AndrewFinnimore12/05/2014
Start: B8083 to south of ridge. Notes: ascended south ridge after wimping out of an ascent of Bruach na Frithe; (Coire and N ridge still very snowy - in May + no boots/winter kit!!). [nevermind - its not a Marilyn anyway]. Beinn na Cro occupies a fantastic position between the Red Cuillin and the Bla Bheinn ranges, providing excellent views of both.raffemeister09/05/2013

Parked at start of road to Luib. Through gate up over firm ground easily up on stepped green stuff and deer grass to vis horizon to right. Over fence at a corner post and an easy trod on solid ground up to boulder area. Faint path on prow of hill. Nose bleed. Easy progress to top at 9.45. Excellent viewpoint. Cuckoo.arranc15/05/2007
