Parked NX 3841 8636. Rough break goes up between clear fell and mature growth to fenceline, then much easier.jonglew27/07/2021

From Kirriereoch car park, on to Benyellary, Merrick and Kirriereoch. fairly easy approach on forest road then faint path to open hillColin Crawford04/06/2018
1st hill of 9 today on my South Ayrshire completion walk, starting from the House o' Hill hotel in Bargrennan i took a taxi to the track leading to the King's ford, followed by a tricky crossing of the Kirriemore burn (remains of bridge meant finding stones to cross instead) past the Kirriemore loch, now in a steady dowenpour, a bit of a thrash through the trees to reach the chambered cairn then on a forest track veering off to climb upto the summit, made possible by the clear-felled trees. Summit reached in rain and mist. Could still tell this is a nice hill despite the absence of views. Descent over the Kirshwinnoch burn (beautiful) to then ascend towards Kirriereoch hill.Dazingdale20/05/2017
From West, drove forest track, parked at foot of hillRHW05/06/2016
From Benyellary to Kirriereoch Car Park. Descended NW ridge of Benyellary, across burn, and round the W ridge of Merrick to Kirriemore Hill. Descended NW to forest edge, and down the fire break marked on the 1:25K map. Forest to west of fire-break has been felled. Easy enough going underfoot. Out west along forest road to be met by RHW Taxi Services.Minto04/06/2016
Suprised that there were no prior logs on Hillbagging for this fine little hill. Climbed as part of round of Tarfesock, Kirriereoch Hill and Kirriemore Hill from W. Camped overnight approx 730m on W ridge of Kirriereoch.RobertP20/09/2015
