From north side of Lochan Dearg to join surprisingly good path to trig and HP. Fabulous views with light snow covering underfoot. Direct return by deteriorating path to start at Mishnish Lochs.lordtonult09/04/2022
From B8073 -> Sron na Beinne Creagaich -> Speinne Mhor -> Loch Frisa -> B8073briandiggle23/08/2021
Straight up and down from the west of Loch Carnain an AmaisWayne Mac19/08/2021
Up from Loch Peallach via forest rides. These are not a good idea in summer. Descended via usual route NW, which was better.quadbarrel08/07/2021
From track to Fish Farm, ample parking. Used track over hill tramp to 476505 where there is felled clearing in wood, and a good felling track up the slope and easy exit to hill higher up. Met the metal fence lines and followed the boggy path up onto ridge where it veers off right (stone pile) and onto summit. Return to the gate in fence just before river, followed it down to save the boggy traverse. Interesting Dyke and picked up the track back to car. Morning 3hrs. Felling on the hillside will change this in next few years..N.Morters14/03/2020
Trade route from the W end of the Mishnish Lochs - very boggy approach but dry once on the NW ridgeChris Peart12/11/2019
From the W end of Loch Carnain an Amais where there is just room to park inside the passing place; important not to block it, it's on a bad bend. A good, unmapped path leads up Sron na Beinne Creagach and contours below the hill top. Shortly after joining a ruined fence, a direct route follows clear deer tracks NE-ish, then you can head across to Lochan Dearg, a bit wet at first but faint deer tracks lead to drier rocky bumps and then onto the hill. Contouring upwards leads to the summit ridge and rejoins the path to the summit. Fine views. Going mainly easy even when off the path.Gill22/09/2019
Cycled from Aros to point NE of Lettermore, then sharp right onto a steep and dilapidated track that leads up to deer fence at 200m. Followed fence up to gate at 250m which was easier to scramble than open. Tussocky going to summit.Topographer5712/04/2019
Easy parking at 465524. A 3 hour return as the weather improved. Wet after the previous days downpour but a decent path for most of the way. With CM.bolton27/08/2018
From road to the NW. With PM.CJM27/08/2018
From the NW via the Tump. Good views from summit to Tobermory and far beyond.NormanW10/07/2018
As Rick's route, path pretty good for Mull. Rained twice, mild, very windy, nice easy walk.iangalbraith18/06/2018
From Loch Carnain an Amais via path along ridge. Excellent views.Winterfloodian27/05/2018
Room for 3/4 cars at 465523, decent path all the way, weather closed in on me, but saw enough to see this is a wonderful viewpoint, well worth a trip.hils14/04/2018
Weather was Yuk!Mountain Goat19/05/2016
Used same route as Nordstar, but track was buried under snow. If you keep close to Lochan Dearg you have a more direct line up, but on the way down keep to W. Superb views down the Sound of MullThearlaichdubh30/04/2016
13.30 with Jimmy McPaul in weather window without rain but increasingly strong winds.vegibagger01/06/2015
With Jenx, from B8073 at GR NM466524, parking in small old quarry. There's a path to gate, from here a decent path goes most of the way towards the top, somewhat wet in places and using an eroded edge for passage quite cleverly. At final pull up old deer fence post march on, angle up the hill and rejoin a faint path that goes all the way to summit cairn and trig in 1 hour. The forest below is being harvested so avoid the track in this way I would suggest. Wonderful views from highest point of North Mull, well worth the effort.nordicstar25/04/2015

On Ben More Trip to Mull with Caroline and Barrynickywood124/09/2012
Jhimmy was with me day before he did this one, on my final Munro. I decided to go to Staffa instead. Anyway, done it now from same start, took in the 313m summit (P30) on way up. Great views. Long walk back on track in sunshine.Martin R13/04/2012
With Alfie. Started just west of Loch Carnain an Arnais at Snake Pass. Went up Beinne Creagaich (313m) on the way. The trig is surrounded by vegetation within the shelter cairn. A rock just to the south of the shelter cairn seems to be the highest point. I spoke to Clare on the mobile from the trig point, as she could see me waving at her from the house!Dangerous Dave23/10/2011
Wet day. Up through the forest from Loch Frisa.fasgadh13/04/2011

by forest road leading down to Loch Frisa. On road and struck uphill over short bracken and uneven ground to line of forest. Up to a thin grassy section and an old deer fence - wire long gone. Deer path on north side for 2 miles to final heave of hill. Sharp gain of height onto dome and 2 or 3 false cairns and to Vanessa 9798 at 13.30. Boulder 100m away seemed higher. Castlebay ferry going to Oban.arranc29/08/2006
Large car park at approx: NM462524. Lots of eagle watchers all over the place. Route fairly obvious, if slightly longer then it looks.Jhimmy05/05/2006

Date is first visit. Notes from later...fine remote hill (no view - rain). FP from 466523, faint fork just after stile, good FP most of way to summit RHW31/03/2002
