Parked 784 386 entrance to forest at head of valley to NE, then permissive path along the old railway line. Left the path before the cutting N of Tanrallt up to LLyn y Garn, clockwise circuit round South Top then Y Garn returning back to railway, approx 5 miles	Rob50	01/05/2023
Great walk up Y Garn S.Top and Y Garn. Parked at 75594 36564 and started walking up the farm drive. The farmer came down on his quad bike and was a bit suspicious at first but then very helpful considering there is no row. He came back up to the farm with me to make sure his terriers did not go for me and pointed me in the right direction - up a field to the disused railway line which you use to cross a valley then left up S. Top. Little in the way of paths but lovely tops with a lake between them. 1h 45 3.14 miles.	clivevilla	27/03/2023

With Rufus, Moel y Croesau, Y Garn South Top & Y Garn from track on B4491 at SH 76747 40134. Followed fence to Llyn Cors y Barcud, past fence junction and over fence to S. Then SW to pick up good track to W, direct to Moel y Croesau and then ESE over fences to col between the 2 Y Garn tops. Returned to N crossing outflow of Llyn Conglog Mawr and under pylons back to Llyn Cors y Barcud.	jacobrichmond	04/04/2020
