17.5 miles 2316ft walk. on Cross Britain Way. | stephenbuda | 31/05/2022 |
From 831245 did a circuit of Bryn Mawr, Cefn Glas, Braich Lusog and Foel Ddu. After the track up it was nearly all pathless and quite tough going. 7.49 miles 4 hours 3 minutes. The mound slightly further south at 81877 24556 definitely looks to be higher so I went there too. | clivevilla | 14/10/2021 |
Undulating top covered in Bilberries. Bit of a slog. Found OS Buried Block. Left marked with pile of stones. | Dusty | 28/07/2019 |
Parked in the car park near Rhydymain village hall at SH 80523 22096. Took RoW between cottage and Afon Fiddon up to Ty-mawr, then track up through fields to gate at SH 81219 23806. Where track reached its highest point I headed east through rough bilberry and heather to a wall, which I crossed at a breach at SH 81449 24403. Then up over minor knoll, down and over non-barbed fence and up to summit - a heathery knoll above little crags. Walk continued to Craig y Benglog. | Man of Kernow1 | 04/01/2015 |
