Logged Descriptions  (logged by 22 users)ByDate of Ascent
Parked in large layby on bend to SW - SE along road & immediately after crossing cattle grid, turned left & up bridleway to join stone track - Along track for less than 100m to start of plantation, turned right & along tracks, mostly along fence line, to heather & bilberry mound on S. side of track. Also visited the fairly small embedded rock to E. which lies in heather about 10m S. of track.gerrybowes25/07/2023
Drove up rough track to forest. Not much space to park at track junction with road, but plenty higher up near forest. Easy ascent via stone ruins. Zig zag track avoids bog, head left to fence, then track up through heather to top.Minto18/10/2022
From point to SW where track leaves road.Mark Jackson29/10/2021

Accessed from track off b road. Drove up to forest edge-it had been a long day okay! Couple of fields before heathery top field. A good track goes around the perimetwr though and no bashing required. Nice spot. 14 tumps today. Knees shot now though!stig_nest15/05/2016
