From Craig Aberserw over rough, undulating path less terrain. Goats. Bilberry, heather, tussocky grass and rock bands. Crossed wall at col and then followed wall to obvious HP on large rock slab. Nearby cairn slightly lower per Abney. Nice light with reddish grass glowing. Continue over heather and rock bands, some steep, south to wall, hoping to pick up mapped footpath back to forest track. Unsurprisingly, once through wall, find ourselves thrashing through thick undergrowth of moss, bramble, tussocks and young trees, but keeping to where the mapped RoW path should be, until, miraculously, at c320m SH 70778 25471 we find a 2m wide strimmed track, sometimes boggy but much better than thrashing- which goes in a generally south direction ( not as mapped) to join forest track at c 230m SH 76783 25042 - opposite mapped N/S wall . Indistinct junction, look for some semi floating cut planks.Denise 08/10/2021
From Craigddu-isaf over Craig Aberserw. A useful farm track goes south from SH 69468 28630 to near Craig Aberserw, then heather bashing. Lots of ripe bilberries. The RoW going slightly north of west from Cefn-carn does not exist on the ground (lots of tussocks).Alan Moore29/07/2020
