A 9 top bike round mostly on forestry tracks and minor roads. | robertphillips | 28/08/2022 |
Parked at NR9697 7106 in a wide area off the forest track. Decided not to try driving the track as there was evidence of recent forestry vehicle activity. Followed the track to within 240m of the summit, then picked our way through the felled and replanted area. Nice little summit area, but awkward walking once off the track. | LizH | 09/11/2021 |
Walked in from S end of Kames via Cowal Way & forest tracks. Faint old logging track helped with route through the brash/new plantings from the SSW. Small cairn on summit mound below tree. | Lindsay M | 07/11/2021 |

With Alex, Charlie, Doug & Rick. Drove in along forest track after Inchmarnock boat trip. | Tony J | 26/08/2017 |
Expedition led by D Law. Drove up to High point from golf course to N then thrash through felling to summit. Rubbish. | Thearlaichdubh | 26/08/2017 |
With Carole Engel, filling in time before the Inchmarnock Island boat rip at 10am. Drove past golf clubhouse (1 unlocked gate to open) on a good forest track, 4x4 not required. Walked final 300m over felled conifer woodland - very rough going. | jonglew | 26/08/2017 |
Bagged as part of the Famous Five with Alex, Charlie, Rick and Tony after driving in along the forest track from the golf course. | Dugswell2 | 26/08/2017 |
Easy up via drive thru golf course to point described by RHW. Lines up through brash of trees felled a year or so ago to old pasture with small trees. With Dugswell, Alex, Tony and Charlie after Inchmarnock trip. | nordicstar | 26/08/2017 |
Fancy footwork required for summit photo poses courtesy of Director Doug. | Alex C | 26/08/2017 |
Trees between N-S forest road and the summit have been felled. | mae | 13/10/2016 |
New forestry from N, presumably, eventually reaches to within 500m then continues away SW, presumably. The track marked on map from S, Glenahuil, Does Not Exist. You have to hack through densely fallen pines then knee deep bog before reaching to forestry access well made up track. | Eddie | 29/05/2014 |
dullish hill, summit free of trees but +/- no view. rough tk to park at 973681, fairly open pltn to summit | RHW | 23/03/2002 |
Parked at the car park near Blair's Ferry and took the Millhouse footpath to meet up with the north - south track. Once at a level with the summit hacking was required to reach it. | garyhoney | 21/07/2000 |
