17.75 miles 4619ft walk, start at Glen Lochay NT carpark to Creag Mhor, Beinn Sheasgarnaich, Sron Nan Eun and Stob An Fhir-Bhogha.stephenbuda16/09/2023
From Glen Lochay car park, as an out-and-back singleton. Change of plan after pitching tent near summit, intending to do Heasgarnaich the next day, then realising I'd left the food bag in the van. Got back in the dark. Golden evening with stiff, snell SW breeze. Rounsfell09/05/2023

Cycled along upper track after parking the car at the start of it on the road over to Glen Lyon. Tricky crags to negotiate to get to ridge. On return dropped of NE spur of Sron nan Eun for easy grassy descent. Overcast but clear, howling gale on ridge.Trotticus11/07/2022

Solo clockwise round of Crag Mhor and Beinn Heasgarnich from the Glen Lochay car park near Kenknock. Late start (9am) due to forgetting to set my alarm, but only two other cars at the parking area when I arrived. Blue skies when I set off, but temps just above freezing even on the valley floor. Took 1.5hrs to cover the almost 5.5 miles along the track to the start of the main ascent up Creag Mhor. Above 600m of elevation, I started to feel some of the forecast wind, and with an estimated -15c wind chill on the tops, I put a hardshell, hate and gloves on, and those stayed on for much of the next 4 hours. The summit of Creag Mhor was clear of cloud, with just a light dusting of snow, so I took some photos and started the descent down into the bealach between the two mountains. Fairly decent drop of around 400m down to the bealach, which is a bit boggy, but not too bad (compared to the descent off Heasgarnich later). The initial ascent up Sròn Tairbh felt pretty steep (a gap of sevemproudfoot21/11/2021

Today I bagged my first Munro in four months exactly (when I bagged Beinn Mhanach on 06/03/20) and 111th so far. Today I went to Killin then west along Glen Lochay, to the informal car park for 07:10. Then cycling further west up the glen, to the foot of Sron nan Eun. The way up this involves navigating around two sets of crags, to get up onto the should, then the final push up tot eh summit of Creag Mhor (1047m) for 11:10. I had planned to Beinn Sheasgarnaich as well, but I ate most of my food on the way up and didn’t want to push it too far. Dry most of the day, with a brief light drizzle, in the morning and sunshine in the afternoon, back to the car for 14:20, 7hrs after starting. Seen two wee green frogs, I managed to get a photo of one on the descent.chillyman806/07/2020

From the CP before Kenknock, I walked up the hydro road to the top track, leaving it at the Allt Batavaim. I passed the cargs to the left, then too the first grassy gully, weaving upwards on ramps to the ridge below Sron nan Eun, which made a scenic lunch spot. On to Creag Mhor's summit, an out-and-back to the gloriously remote viewpoint of Meall Tionail above Loch Lyon, and back to the horseshoe route and Sron nan Clach, before a long walk out, descending SW, and limboing under the deer fence where it crosses the Allt Cheathaich.Nick Down106/10/2018
