Up vehicle track on southern flank, then western ridge.TK03/09/2023
From SE after the SE top. Along track and then up sheep trod to fence and on to the top.PeterD31/03/2023
Gate at SO 27375 78525, up steeply to meet sheep trod that exits the trees at SO 27320 78552 and then carries on to the summit ridge. No dead (or live) sheep, however plenty cowpat frisbees. Not atypical to Shropshire and certainly easier than I anticipated from OP's comments.Martin R31/08/2022
From the SE top. Over gate and initially go NE through wood and out onto open pasture. Very straightforward with no gates or fences.Campbell Singer06/10/2019
New Invention to Clun. Approached from Spoad Hill before dropping steeply to Cwm Burholes.Smudge25/03/2017
Roadside verge parking near Brook House. RoW initially then across stream and direct route S across sheep pastures to top. On to the SE top in a diretc route SE.jonglew24/03/2017
Second and last of the day,ill fitting footware! fine on the flat but toe crushers going down hill. Quite a steep climb that seamed to go on and on.heavyhorses04/03/2017
From col with SE top. Over gate and right track which climbs steepish up nose of hill. Track all but vanishes for a short while but then reappears through ungated gap. Another steepish section leads to top..only when you get there its not the top. A bit further..felt a fair climb but a rewarding one. Feels very unShropshirey this place.. The Clun hills are a hidden gem for sure. 25mins with Laura.w and our tenth top of the day.stig_nest06/05/2016
With stig_nest. Genuinely thought this one was never goin to end, better views part way up than at the top.Laura.W06/05/2016
No problems with verge parking where the obvious track leads off to the west in the valley bottom (just after the houses due east of the summit). Follow this track until you reach a gate just off the main path. Go through it and follow the next hedge upwards where, after crossing a wire fence, you will pick up a track to the summit. 35 minutes return on mostly good paths. If you do the NE top first you can pick out where to aim for.moorsman21/04/2016
3/9 Third of nine summits on very windy day (Stow Hill/Rock Hill/Cefn Hepreas/Cwm-Sanaham Hill/Llanfair Hill/Llanwen Hill/Hawthorn Hill/Black Hill/Glog Hill)Fergalh05/12/2015
Track from SE. When I passed the fence on the right I headed steeply N along the left hand side of the fence, through a gate and then W to top.clivevilla10/03/2015
Fast run down rough pastures from Llanfair Hill and stormed up this top veering off notional row through scattered thistles. Knucklas to Clun run with Betty the Jack Russell.Chris Pearson20/02/2014
Anticlockwise 'Dyke' circuit of Llanfair Hill and Cefn Herpreas from SO 272 792.summitsup03/11/2013
