3/3 after corndon I fancied a Lok attached Mitchell's fold in the piddling rain. Realised how close stapeley hill was so made a stab for it. Stapeley common is beautiful and remote, wild. It was unclear in the fog which summit was higher so I jogged between them, they look about the same to me. Got drenchedtumpawumpa03/09/2017

On a walk from the bus stop at Hollybank, via the excellent Hoarstones stone circle. Up here primarily to see the fine ring cairn to the southwest of the summit. A cracking day, with long views as far as Cader Idris. From here I carried on to Mitchell's Fold, then across the border and up Corndon Hill.thesweetcheat08/04/2011
From small car park beside track at SO 30265 98054. The ascent of Stapeley Hill is a gradual affair, there’s a wide grassy track and no steep bits.David Gradwell28/05/2009
