| Parked at the end of the forest track at approx NX093774. Walked a short distance then kept right on the track, and after about another 100m, left the forest by a gate. Up on grass, with just the odd boggy bit. The electric fence near the summit was rusty and not in use. Sad to read the memorial stone. Beautiful views. | LizH | 18/06/2019 |

| 10th hill of 13 today on my penultimate South Ayrshire completion walk on a challenging route from Lendalfoot to Ballantrae, climbing Balsalloch, Knockormal, Ballaird, Littleton, Knockdolian, Sallochan, Knockdhu, Big Fell and Smyrton Hill, joining track near tower at Auchencrosh hill to reach A77 then headed South for about 300m before climbing direct to the summit over rough ground.
