At the end of track struck up the hillside to reach the SE ridge of Beinn a' Chaisteil. There is a fence on the ridge, which is a boundary. The summit cairn is a few metres W of the point where the fence takes a right angled bend. Continued to Beinn nam Fuaran. Weather good clear and dry.
