Parked near the road end at Fingland. Good tracks, then ATV track to summit.PGCE14/10/2023
Start & finish at the Kames CP, using tracks, waterlogged ATV routes and heather tramping to take in Wardlaw Hill, Stony Hill, Cairn Table, Douglas Rig and Little Cairn Table. 6hrs.summitter25/01/2023
From the end of the public road which leads to AuchendaffAndrew Simmons15/09/2022
From end of public road to ENE (NS 7924 2350)... which was signed as being closed after Glentaggart - big new wind farm in the process of going in, but no-one at work today. Good track mostly, plus some burns to ford, for 7km to NS 7383 2146 after which the ground was a bit rough and squidgy. On to Cairn Table, Little CT and also picked up Douglas Rig on the return for a suprisingly pleasant 21k round of 4 27C hills I'd left out on a bit of a limb.jonglew23/01/2022
Same approach from SSE as Liz H...it seemed much more straightforward than the path on the map.Pete R19/06/2021
Parked on verge at NS75185 17446, just before a wide flat area marked 'no parking'. Followed the forest tracks to a gate at NS72938 20670, then ATV track to the summit. Good views. Returned, and on to Kirklea.LizH02/05/2021
From Parish Holm, track to under Little Cairn Table, then Cairn Table and ridge to Stony Hill. Descent via path/track and MacAdam's monument to Muirkirk and River Ayr Way back to car. The 'path' to the W back to Muirkirk has been churned by off-road vehicles and is now a bog in many places until it becomes the track on the map near 706232.benalder28422/11/2020
From Kames out track to gate at col then across wettish stuff and up by fence. Fence corner to summit was much easier than it looked it would be! Return by same route.SS19/07/2020
From Kames, normal route up Cairn Table then on to Stony Hill and back via McAdam's Monument.Chris Mac20/10/2019
2nd hill of 8 on a 26.4km circuit from Fingland road end, climbing White Hill then North to Threeshire Hill then following forest ride West then NW, heading West to the summit on exiting forest. I recorded 567m @ NS 72546 21522, continuing Wnw on the long plod to Wardlaw Hill...Dazingdale24/09/2019
Parked on wide grass verge opposite sheep pens, about 150m before Fingland (753176) - Noted chrisbien's log & followed the Muirkirk track round the hairpin bend to the bottom corner of forest & start of an ATV track - Up ATV track alongside edge of forest, making a beelne for the summit cairm. Trees to west have been felled; some replanting. (S)gerrybowes16/05/2019
Bike from Fingland along waterlogged track for most of way, before walking up side of forest to summitcjo18/11/2017
Biked from Fingland to just past chrisbien's Penbreck Burn where current felling machinery have left a pair of wide wheeled depressions through the tussocks out of the forest.Eddie27/09/2017
Parked fingland track most of the way.robertphillips21/03/2016
A boggy ascent from the carpark at Kames to Cairn Table. Then to Stony and Wardlaw Hills.Alan Moore16/04/2015

Light solo hill walk/run from Muirkirk. Climbed after Cairn Table.Man of Kernow131/10/2010
Came up over Cairn Table from walkers' car park at Kames, then on to Wardlaw Hill. Track of sorts all the way.agentmancuso26/05/2008
My final SubMarilyn (OMoMow isn't one). Dullish 2-3 part summit, highest seems to be stake/stone cairn, watch for Fort George (grouse butt - cf Military base nr I'ness?) & White Horse (saddleback stone) at NS704233 !!. good tk from Muirkirk then damp plodRHW21/09/2003
