Parked wide grass verge at road junction to E. Handy field gate on lane due S of high point.jonglew25/07/2023
A drive out with a spare hour before dark after supply teaching at Polwhele near Truro. A lovely sunny warm (11 degrees) Feb day (had enjoyed sitting on a log in a sunny wood all afternoon marshalling a cross country race). The mild Cornish climate year round accounting for the success of Cornwall's oldest vineyard down to the W of this hill (field) and the famous Lost Gardens of Heligan, to the E where giant Camellias and rhododendrons flourish and even Europe's only pineapple pit!Chris Pearson07/02/2023
