Up the Coire nan Lochan onto Stob Coire nan Lochan, up and down Bidean nam Bean. Bealach Dearg under snow descended into Coire Gabhail. | Arbie | 20/04/2023 |
From the car park just west of the helipad. Lovely walk up into the Lost Valley. Good path up to Bealach Dearg the last bit on the scree was a bit poor and wouldn’t be great in wet weather. It was then an easy walk up to Stob Coire Sgreamhach’s cairn. The top was in cloud. I returned to the bealach and headed up easy slopes to the summit of Bidean. I did get some views which was great. It was then down to the col with Stob Coire Nan Lochan and up to the summit. This was a bit scrambly but easy. From the summit I headed down through the boulder fields of the north west ridge and then down into the Coire Nan Lochan where I followed the good path to the car park. Time taken including stops 6.5 hours for 8 miles. | isabelle | 07/06/2022 |
With Lorna and David. Incredible that this isn't a munro in its own right. Beautiful day but very scary as lots of ice on scree. Fed Ronald Raven at summit. | Skerryvore | 15/10/2021 |

Up Lost Valley to Bealach Dearg, out & back to Stob Coire Sgreamhach, then Bidean nam Bian, Stob Coire nan Loch, descent via Coire nan Lochan. Tops in cloud, chilly wind. Solo | richard69 | 14/09/2021 |
Spent the weekend at the Ochils Mountaineering Club cottage in Crianlarich. Sunday 29/08/21, I met up with Alex McBride and we headed up Bidean nan Bain. Starting up the steep east slope of Beinn Fhada, to bag its two Munro Tops. Followed by the appropriately named 'bad step', which was a bit airy for comfort, on the ascent to the 1st Munro of Stob Coire Sgreamhach (1072m). Then Bidean nan Bain (1150m, 2nd Munro), from where I ventured west for the Munro Top of Stob Coire nam Beith (1107m) and then back up to Bidean. The return to the car meant we had to ascent the fourth and final Munro Top of the day Stob Coire nan Lochan (1115m), then around the west side of Coire nan Lochan and back to the Three Sisters car park 10:50hrs after leaving the Beehive Cairn car park, both of us suitably knackered. | chillyman8 | 29/08/2021 |

At 27degrees it was too hot for another round of the tops so just did this one - via the lost Valley path to the split just under the slopes leading to the scree section where the old wee path goes to the Bidean-SCnL col and up from there. Descent via E arm and CnL. Nice afternoon after failing to get to Scarba, but, for Scotland, way to hot for walking! | Belfarm | 22/07/2021 |

Met Sylvia at the SYHA the night before and invited her along for a walk - not sure she knew what she had agreed to! We walked the normal route but backwards. Lots the path a couple of times on the way up because of snow, but were headed in the correct direction so not too worried! Looks like it was snowstorms everywhere but on out route that day! The views were endless and we stood still whenever we could to soak them in. Finished with a bum slide into Coire Gabhail, which nearly put a hole in my waterproofs. Then somehow lost the path getting out of the Lost Valley and spent too much time rock-hopping over slimy boulders in the river. All in the name of fun! | kateslattery90 | 25/10/2019 |

Climbed with Rach as part of a Bidean Nam Bian walk. Absolutely glorious weather - perfect cloud free summits. Added a few additional tops to e walk along the ridge from Stob Coire Sgreamhach, the scrambling on this ridge was pretty easy. The hidden valley (on ascent) was stunning with lots of Deers. Descended over Nam Lochan and down its Left flank. All in all a good days walk. | scholesy | 11/10/2013 |
