As others, from good parking near ex Chapel in Garnfadryn, good obvious path all the way to the top. 1.6 miles round trip.JulieB10/06/2023
Park by chapel/house, path follows stone wall then rocky and windy, stay on the path as detours are very rocky and scrambly, so much rain, piece of cake in the dryTribal2er07/06/2023
Good parking near converted chapel. There is now a cross on top of the trig point.Hippy7713/02/2023
Ex-chapel now a home. Windy ascent on good path to top where trig is now surmounted be very large steel cross.lordtonult07/11/2022
Good parking near converted chapel to south in Garnfadryn. Good path all the way to the top. Great views, only downside was the area around the trig was swarming with flying ants, so did not hang around after taking a couple of pictures. Descended via Garn Bach.PeterD14/08/2022
A nice well-signposted walk from the ex-chapel in the village.twg2725/06/2022

From the chapel at dinas, a circular loop around Carn Fadryn with a trip to the top.Iam_JoshEdwards28/08/2021
Like others, started from capel car park in Glanfadryn village. A steep but thankfully short climb via Iron Age hut circles and lots of bracken/heather, although the paths are obvious. Amazing views at the top, but very blustery!cjwilliams17/08/2021
From Garnfadryn - good parking next to converted chapel. Lovely walk on good paths although chest high bracken encroaching on lower slopes which a local told me didn't used to be a problem. Super little hill - great views.Crib Goch29/07/2021

Second time up. Went up the public foot path. Came down along some white rocks, was a hard scramble. Overcast. Didn't have time to do the triad, next time hopefully.Skarletk01/07/2021
A sunny blue skies day but the hill had a spooky helm of mist. Visited the hut circles and ramparts. Ankle breaking terrain, deep heather and bilberry over rocks and boulders. RAF playing overhead.M3WDD30/06/2021
Parked at good car park in Garnfadryn, up marked path to Carn Fadryn then over to Garn Bach. Followed ROW to Moel Caerau and returned to van via ROW and road along the east and south base of Garn Bach. Cracking walk in the sun.summitter22/06/2021
Free parking at the village and well signposted path up to the Carn, with Tilly and Jack. Last of 4 Marilyns today, great view of the sunsetmazz04/09/2020

5/6 Marilyn for the day. Carn Fadryn from Garnfadryn. A great viewpoint. (S)silveracorn_alan07/05/2019
With JF. From the converted chapel (work is close to completion). AF and DB pottered around the lower slopes. Calm, dry, very mild, cloud base at about 280m. Clear path through the rocks and low heather all the way.Owen B28/12/2018
Final hill on walk from Nefyn via Garn Boduan. I approached along FPs from East which are not well defined in places. Best route is from Garnfadryn to SW. I followed this down and then walked to Bottwonng for bus back to Pwllheli. Super hill.trimarc208/10/2018
Lovely early evening walk up from chapel, amazing views from top, not one cloudsteve_a07/06/2018
Second hill of the day. Again in mist. Started at converted chapel in Garnfadryn. Plenty of parking.huwthomas04/04/2018
A splendid hill for my last Llyn Marilyn, with Twice Shy (Alex). From the chapel, loads of parking. The hill looks steep, heathery and scree covered, but the path is surprisingly easy and well-graded, and goes all the way up. Much loafing in the sun and admiring the views.Gill09/03/2018
Good Climb from parking at converted chapel to south.rhalstead24/12/2017
Good parking, chapel still being worked on, easy path take you all the way to the top even though it looks like it is going to be a steep walk up at times its not too bad at all. you even get a trig point as a bonus when you get there.Father Ted07/10/2017

With K from Chapel to S. Not as big as it looks. Hill fort very interesting.Ashley25/07/2017
From the converted chapel. Loads of parking. Phone box is a wol but the lane obvious enough. Lots of sopping wet bracken was my only real issue. Clear path otherwise. Looks to be a gem of a hill, certainly climbs like one. No view today though.stig_nest19/07/2017
With Trefor. From converted chapel to the south. Good path to summit. Good weather and great viewsmike.hoult05/04/2017

3 walks on Lleyn Peninsula with Hobbses. Parked at disused chapel to S, good path all the way. Great viewsMark Jackson19/08/2016
Used track right by the side of the chapel (Aug 2016 being converted to a home). At Resr path turns right and is cleared through gorse and bracken to the summit.G4OBK (Phil)14/08/2016
Lovely isolated little mountain with wide views of Lleyn peninsula, Anglesey, Snowdonia and as far as Ceredigion and even Ireland. Interesting ancient hill fort remains at top - reminded me of Carrock Fell in the Lakes. Did a clockwise circumnavigation of the hill from Ty-bwlcyn in northwest, before ascending from Carn Fadryn-Garn Bach saddle up the pleasant tourist path. Walked with Labrador. Rights of way to north and east of Carn Fadryn are ill-defined with lots of dog-unfriendly stiles (and one stile was dangerously in bad repair). Weather fine, dry but slightly overcast. Time 2 hrs 15 min.jamessteel10031/07/2016

Short walk with G/F up from the bus stop by the chapel in Garnfadryn itself. Wonderful hillfort, with a Bronze Age cairn among the rocky outcrops and superb views of the whole peninsula, a bit hazy towards Yr Wyddfa though on our visit. After this we visited the excellent chambered tomb below Mynydd Cefn Amlwch and the standing stone at Sarn Meyllteryn.thesweetcheat22/04/2016
