After summit of Snowdon/Yr Wyddfa, in some snow and bitter wind but lovely views; jogged back down Llanberis Path in just over an hour after this top.NorfolkPT2106/03/2024
From Pen y Pas via Crib Fach and Crib Goch. Good weather. Demanding ridge requiring concentration all of the way. Several false summits. Busy. With Duncan. Descent via Miners Track.Campbell Singer08/10/2023

Climbed on a detour from the Snowdon Llanberis route. Trig not in great condition. Initially reached the peak in the fog, then returned after stopping at the Snowdon station once the clouds had lifted. (didn't bother getting in the queue for the Snowdon peak)JamesA6024/07/2023

Parked on A4086, just east of the county boundary. Walked back along the road and up the permissive path to Pen y Pass. Took the PYG track to Bwlch y Moch, then followed the fence up to Craig Fach. Back to and along the PYG track up to the top of the zig zags, then right to Crib y Ddysgl, then back along the corrie rim to Snowdon. Very busy on top, with an hour's queue for the pillar. Above 800m, it was quite snowy, with those only equipped with trainers doing much sliding! From the summit headed down the steep Watkin path, which thankfully was fairly snow free. Along the west ridge of the horseshoe, visiting Y Lliwedd (W+E peaks) and Lliwedd Bach. Then down to the Miner's Track, with a quick diversion to bag Clogwyn Pen Llechen. On reaching Pen y Pass went up and over Moel Berfedd, dropping down to the A4086. 19km in total with 1400m ascent, taking me 9 hours.silverwolf_alan15/04/2023

Pen-y-pas - Miner's Track - Snowdon - Garnedd Ugain - Pyg Track. W/Mark TPatrick Molloy31/08/2022
With Amelia. Rather than pay for parking we parked at the lay-by for the Nantlle Ridge and walked across to Rhyd Ddu. We took the Rhyd Ddu path to the summit. Was much quieter than some of the other routes. It was warm and sunny with great views as far as the mountains near Dublin. We saw a goat halfway up looking resplendent with horns and beard. On the summit there was a short queue. We took some photos and at my suggestion headed to Crib y Ddysgl for lunch where we had the place to ourselves while Snowdon was crowded with at least 3-400 people. We went back on the Snowdon Ranger and by the reservoir saw some Choughs. We then cut off the main path past the old workings back to the car. Time taken including lots of stops was 7 hours 50 minutes for 10.5 miles.isabelle30/08/2022
From Snowdon Ranger car park, up the main track, but taking the left fork to revisit Foel Goch to bag it as a Dewey, then along the ridge over Foel Gron to Moel Eliio. Then back tracked and over Moel Cynghorion, before re-joining the Snowdon Ranger path. A tough climb up this section in the heat of a very hot day to reach Crib y Ddysgl, then joining the long line of hikers heading for Yr Wyddfa, the Snowdon summit, but only a 10 minute queue to reach the trig. A long, nearly 9 hour, day in the heat to cover the 22km with 1700m of ascent.silverwolf_alan10/08/2022

Snowdon horseshoe. Amazing day in perfect weatherBarns15009/07/2022
Paked at Nant Peris park and ride for £5 where there is toilets and caught the sherpa bus £3 to Pen y pass. Intended to walk the full Snowdon horseshoe but it was too windy for Crib Goch, so climbed via the Miners track to the 998 point and turned right for a quick ascent of Crib y Ddysgl, continuing on from here to snowdon and around to Y Lliwedd, Lliwedd east top, Lliwedd Bach and Gallt y Wenallt, caution should be taken on descending off snowdon to the south as its very loose. Ten and half mile in Seven and half hours.WAYNE ROWLETT25/06/2022
