From Glen Etive. Traversed base of Buachaille Etive Mor; ascended via Coire na Tullaich; visited Stob Dearg; traversed to Stob na Broige; retraced steps to low point in ridge at NN192527 and descended SE to road being careful not to get trapped between gullies formed by burns. Ascended Beinn Mhic Chasgaig (Marilyn 1100!) from Allt Coire Ghiubhasan gaining west ridge. Descended back to Glen Etive via NE ridge. All the Bu Etive Mor tops with my brother, from Alltnafeadh, via Curved Ridge. I was surprised this was a SMa but not the 2nd Munro, even though I'd been on it before- 1981, must have been the advantages of youth back then.pwheeler24/05/2015

climbed from the tourist route through Coire na Tulaich , did Stob Dearg first to marvel at the views over Rannoch Moor then onto the 902 spot height before the climb onto Stob na Doire for fantastic views onto BE beag and the Bidean. It was then an easy stroll over to bag Stob Coire altruim and the final top of Stob na Broige which had a tremendous view down Glen Etivetorkm26/06/2010

Malcolm Davidson's Compleation, celebrated afterwards in the Kingshouse, despite several of the party losing their way and descending some distance of Stob Dearg before returning to the main ridge; I did not go to Stob Dearg on this occasion, so as not to hold others up. Typical wet Compleation weather. I spent quite a long time huddle behind a boulder waiting for the main party to catch-up.langskill21/08/2005

Tuesday 18th...early fine morning ascent via Curved Ridge for a north/south/south/north clockwise circuit of all the Buachailles. Nuts that in the '97 tables upgrade it wasn't given Munro summit status. It is one in my bookvegibagger18/07/2000

The usual route from Altnafeadh on a warm summer day. 9 of us including Martin66, Shaky, the Wights & Mr T. Walked the length of the tops before dropping into Lairig Gartain from col underneath Stob Coire Altruim. In those days, only 1 Munro & 3 tops... The more adventurous found a plunge pool to jump into on the way back.NotReallyABagger12/07/1987

With party from CHA Guest House, Onich. From Altnafeadh. We scrambled up Curved Ridge, Crowberry traverse and Crowberry Tower to the top of Stob Dearg. On Crowberry Tower a member of the party dislodged a large boulder. Another jumped out of its way on to the sloping ledge I was on. I caught his leg and his fall was arrested. He could have fallen a long way. The remaining tops of Buachaille Etive Mòr were reached up to Stob na Bròige. A direct descent was made to Lairig Gartain on scree, boulders and grass. We walked alongside the River Coupall to Altnafeadh.pwbellarby03/09/1970
