With Alasdair. Continued to W Top.duchally13/03/2024
Parked at Ardvorlich and followed the track up to the bealach between Glen Vorlich and Gleann an Dubh Choirein. Then steeply up by the fence posts, turning off to Meall na Fearna and across the peat hag col and up to Meall na Fearna. Back tracked across to Beinn Domhnuill. Thus far all in the mist. Would have been tricky navigation in the days before gps and OS maps on the phone. For the rest of the day the sun came out, so easy, visiting Creagan an Lochain, Black Craig, Meall Reamhar, and Meall nan Saighdearan. Then dropped down Fin Glen and back along the road to Ardvorlich. No issues with peat hags and bogs due to dry weather. 22km with 1260m ascent taking 8.5 hours.silveracorn_alan05/06/2023
From Ardvorlich, via path and then traversing up to pass south of broad col with Beinn Domhnuillrjf3511/04/2023
From Ardvorlich via track, path and pathless to Beinn Domhnuill (superb views), Meall na Fearna and back via West Top and Bealach Gliogarsnaich. With FY & PR, great day out.TRG31830/11/2022
Started at 3.30, dusk and dark and mist made finding the summit challenging even with map on phone and compass. Looked at guide after and it said it was challenging... View not great, but nice to see a moon from the top.davechaffey29/11/2022
From Ardvorlich. Extremely wet underfoot throughout after recent heavy rain, and on a day with heavy showers and strong winds, as well as sunshine and views. Had planned on taking in various Simms as well, but abandoned Creagan an Lochain after speaking to the pony ,an of a stalking party. South down the glen to where the track then path ran out, then east and NE to Beinn Dhomnuill. Took quite a northerly line across to Meall na Fearna to find a way through the considerable peat hags, then W and NW to descend over the top at 717mnand down to the glen again. Rough, pathless, old school!Rockdoctor07/10/2022
Parked near Glen Artney church. Decided to walk up the glen track rather than over Carn Labhruinn after reading about the peat hags. Left the track to the left of the small plantation at the bottom of Sron Bhuidhe, hiked up to about 580m then a rising traverse to the col south of Stob Chalum Mhic Griogair, followed a faint path contouring SW of SCMG, then an easy plod to the summit.Owen B21/09/2022
Solo from Ardvorlich, initially following the main Ben Vorlich track until a track off into Glen Vorlich then onto rough terrain to contour around Beinn Domhnuill. Peat hags slowed me down a bit before the final ascent up to the corbett summit, so skirted to the side of those on the return, heading West to a OS map point 717m before just head directly back down into Glen Vorlich. Broke into a semi-jog on the easy track back down to Loch Earn and ended with a time of 3h 06m. Clouds on the summit, but clear and dry under 700m.mproudfoot02/09/2022

ascent from Ardvorlich. followed path to end then cut across country to the peak - peat hags were substantial but relatively dry despite the rain which fell at regular intervals throughout the day. With NP.kenmorti04/10/2021
K and me, in the rain and wind, cleared up on our descent.niallp04/10/2021
Climbed with Jon on a very hot and sunny day. Blue skies and clear visibility. Stopped at St Fillans on way back for food then back to Broughty Ferry to meet Sandra for beers in the Ship.amcculloch28/08/2021
Up from Loch Earn side, track up the glen then pathless to the summit. Tricky navigation in the wind, mist and drizzle. With MoiraColB09/06/2021
From Glen Artney. Up via Gleann an Dubh Choirein and S ridge, then on to Stob Chalum Mhic Griogair. Descended E by Allt Garbh (lovely waterfalls) then back along Strath a' Ghlinne.quadbarrel09/05/2021
1/2 With Uamh Beag from Glen Artney. Had planned to go on to Creag na h-Eararuidh but soft snow and no winter boots turned me back – Uamh Beag a consolation prize. Showers (snow and hail), lying snow from about 700m mark. Rounsfell07/05/2021
From the Glenartney Road and along the ROW to Callander until the gate SE of Carn Labhruinn. A steep climb from here to the top, including a stretch of peat hag once it levelled out. Then it gets really hagtastic across the expanse to Stuc Gharbh then Stob Chalum Mhic Griogair South Top (what a mouthful!) and the main top. Thankfully there had been no rain for over a week so relatively easy going, but probably a mess after heavy persistent rainfall. Meall na Fearna held no fear at all, then a steady descent to its south top and further down back to the path/track alongside the Allt an Dubh Choirein. 5hr round back to the car.summitter14/04/2021
Solo from Loch earnHuwel25/03/2021
Beinn Domhnuill, Meall na Fearna West Top (and the East Top of the West Top for good measure), Meall na Fearna, Creagan an Lochain and Black Craig from Ardvorlich, cutting North of Creagan an Lochain and descending to the bridge on the Ardvorlich track. Slow going between tops, especially with snow in the peat hags, recompensed by great views in all directions.Nick Down128/02/2021
From parking at the church Auchnashelloch. Up Strath na Ghlinne via track when east of summit up steeply following the north side of the burn. Rounding 742m top then final easy ridge. Mainly grass, after the long track. Fine views.N.Morters09/09/2020
I parked up about half a mile short of Ardvorlich House as it was clear that there was severe competition for parking spaces. We powered up the good track up Glen Vorlich. I made a poor choice of jumping off point for Meall na Fearna and of the route across the heathery hillside. The peat hags below the hill were somewhat easier going. The conditions underfoot were generally wet, tussocky grass and bogs. We did not dally after lunch on the summit as the views were cloudy and it was cold. For the return we took an easier more direct line to the Glen Vorlich path, joining it south of and below the bealach, so we had a pull back to bealch before heading down the path which is very wet and sketchy in places. We met a large group of children with a mother and older woman as we reached the better track - one of the children was walking in bare feet! The family had a connection to Ardvorlich House or some other large house locally.langskill01/08/2020

Parked by church at head of Glen Artney (9:25) and cycled to about 674183 (10:25). Steeply W up trackless slopes N of stream to end of ridge above, then NW to E ridge of hill. Lumpy ground led to summit of Meall na Fearna (12:05). Back down E ridge then steeply direct down to Glen (13:55). Crossed river nearby (NB there is a bridge unmarked on map about 500m north). Straight up slopes opposite to (relocated) summit of Creag na h-Eurauidh (15:05). Down by same route to road, bike (16:15) and car (16:40). Cloud about 500m and some drizzle earlier; level rose later but still no view from either top.dbb02/09/2018
MMC walk my lead. John Berry and Rob Wight. also joined by Fiona Russell and Gordon. Ardvorlich to Beinn Domhuill to summit then back to track and car. Low cloud, warmish, light winds only really cold on summit. Snowshoes from 500m. 5 hours.alexmaclennan13/01/2018

A pleasant afternoon stroll from Glen Vorlich. You really cannot see the hill at all until you climb up to Beinn Domhnuill. The peat hags are easy to cross, and there's a slight path. I came down via the bumps leading to Bealach Gliogaranaich, which is very nice at first. The path towards Glen Vorlich then degenerates into a pretty nasty bogfest - follow the deer tracks, they know the best route! It's a relief to get back on the vehicle track. A nice walk nonetheless.Gill09/08/2016
A big day from tent up track from head of Glen Artney. A round of the horseshoe including Meall na Fearna, the Graham Creag na h-Eararuith and 13 graham tops. Had hoped for some bounding along on grassy ridges but only got those towards end, the rest a bit messy with peat hags, numerous bumps and tops with multiple claimants to be the high point. had some issues with the forest in crossing to south side, now partly felled and I thought I could work through the felled section on what looked like a track from above. Always a mistake, should have gone round west end as originally planned.A good day nonetheless.dickscroop31/07/2016
