YHA Llanberis - Moel Eilio - Moel Cynghorion - return. Lovely ridge walk.twg2716/09/2019
Round of Kinghorion and Eilio from Snowdon ranger station. Car park full had to park a mile to north west. More black marks for the rangers for mistaking Yr Aran for Y Lliwedd on an information board and, more seriously, the disgusting state of the CP toilets. Persistent cloud layer at 600m but through occasional breaks, especially from Eilio summit, Snowdon summit could be seen to be above the clouds. Descended direct from first col SE of Eilio directly to where I left car, animal trails through bracken. Not sure if that was lawful but there was no evident objection.Topographer5725/08/2019

Parked at near Bwlch y Groes in the old quarry (Pen y Bwlch). Lovely day. came at it from the Waunfawr side. stunning views of Dyffryn Peris and across the Anglesey. clouds lifted as i reached the top and came back down again as i left. The summit cairn has grown to be a summit shelter. (but it has been 25 years since my last ascent)rhenciwr08/04/2018

Started from YHA Lanberis an excellent base for the hills in these parts. First summit of long circular route to Llechog taking on Foel Gron and Moel Cynghorion. Approached from NE ridge where can see shelter on right looks slightly higher than rocks on the left. Visited both just in case and to avoid a repeat visit.SteveSmith24/04/2016
