A plesant round in this very remote feeling area.nickywood114/05/2012
Deel River in spate. Parking difficult at road end. 'Slanted' gradually up the slope from Glendavoolagh. Would have preferred the N ridge if a river crossing had been feasible.jimbloomer13/09/2011
fa, with wife, 10.9 miles, sunny & windy on tops, parked in forest by coldness, followed tracks to open hillside and climbed easy slopes to the south top, continued north to the west top of birrencorragh and back to the main ridge and the summit trig point for lunch. descended and climbed up to knockaffertagh and then descended to a stream and picked up a new way marked path back to the forest and our car.rum doodle 11/04/2009
