6th and final mountain today. Quite difficult to establish where the top was but picked it up off Strava, the descent down was rather tricky to the reservoir, no paths to follow and alot of rocks under the grass, used my sticks alot in this area.Buckleymon20/06/2023

Fifth of 8 tops on a breathtaking but exhausting 16.5 mile trek from Dyffryn Ardudwy to Barmouth via Moelfre, Y Llethr, Diffwys and the southern Rhinogydd ridge. After leaving Diffwys, the gentle slopes to this top made for the easiest walking of the day, if a big soggy in places. The top is inconsequential but views are excellent. On to Craig y Grut.thesweetcheat13/09/2022

Rhinog Fawr, Rhinog Fach, Y Llethr, Crib-y-rhiw, Diffws, Diffws West Top. Followed route in Nuttall's book. Couldn't find anyone at the farm so I left £2 parking fee in the porch. Weather had closed in by the end and it was a long day, made the mistake of following the bridleway at GR634240 on the map instead of getting The Nuttalls book out of my rucksack! Should have turned off at GR 640242 and headed for the gate at GR637246.tsharp07/06/2017
Parked up at the end of the tarmac lane from Bontddu. We walked back down a bit then up Cwm Llechen and joined the miners path up to the top, then all along the ridge as far as Mynydd Egryn then back to the car. 17.5km in stunning sunshine and didn't see anyone!Neolith07/04/2017

Low cloud visibility down to 30m rain on and off very strong winds. Parked in Cwm Nantcol near Pont Cerrig. Headed south on path ( not the marked bridle way shown on the OS map which is probably a Friday afternoon mistake) to Llyn Bodlyn up to cairn at 637224. Followed the wall over Diffwys S top, Diffwys, Crib-y-rhiw, Y Lethr and Rhinog Fach. Dropped down to Bwlch Drws-Ardudwy and back to the car. 19 km 1217m of ascent..didn't see a thing so will have to do it again in better weather.axe.stephen03/05/2015
