Bagged as part of the Cadair Idris horseshoe. Unmemorable summit apart from having a stone windbreak which allowed us to check the map without it blowing away! | DawnY24 | 05/09/2020 |
Poor conditions, gale force winds, bad visibility and very wet. Started off in Dôl Idris Car Park and followed the Minffordd Path (taking the right fork across the Nant Cadair) followed the path which was easy enough to follow, though steep and loose in places to Mynydd Moel, followed the path round to Cadair Idris before rejoining the Minffordd Path, slow going on the descent and not the easiest path to follow (and quite trecherous in the rain due to loose scree) from the summit but eventually found it and followed down to Craig Cwn Amarch and then Craig Lwyd. Steps in the wet were very polished but eventually got back to the car park in one piece. | lboutside | 23/08/2020 |
