From Ski centre CP. Around into Cam Ghleann. Steep ascent through broken ground and snow patches. Eventually onto steep upper snow field to Stob a Glais Choire. Great views of winter hills. On to Creise, Mam Coire Easain. Then snowy, steep slightly tricky descent onto ridge in and across to Meall a Bhuiridh. Good snow slopes much of the way back as far as Creag Dhubh. I had an interesting day today, Munro bagging above the Glencoe Ski centre. I got two Munros; Meall a’ Bhuiridh (1108m) and Creise (1100m) and two Munro Tops; Clach Leathad (1099m) and Stob a’ Ghlais Choire (996m). Parking at the ski centre, I headed up underneath the chairlifts for Meall a’ Bhuiridh, then over the connecting ridge to Clach Leathad at the southern end of Creise ridge. I failed to take a photo on top of Creise as I saw a second cairn which I thought was higher, only to check my GPS on this second cairn which told me, I had walked straight past the Munro summit cairn. It didn’t matter as I was heading for the Top of Stob a’ Ghlais Choire and expected to come back over Creise (plus I wasn’t turning back as the hordes were approaching). I met a couple as they came up out of Glas Choire, which I had already ruled out as a descent route, since it looked too steep but they said it was ok. So I headed down and cursed them repeatedly, but I made it, there is a thin rechillyman830/08/2020

We stayed at the Glencoe ski resort so we headed up the path directly inline with the ski tow. This was an interesting walk through the levels of the ski runs. we made a direct line alongside the last ski tow to the summit, glad its summer and not winter to bag this munro. Easy descent down if a bit boggy towards Glas Coire and back to ski centre. with RichieZoe Little21/07/2019

Light dusting of snow on the tops this morning. Started at the ski centre and I walked up, under the ski lift for a while, and then on grass and then stones up to Meall a' Bhuiridh and then down and up the ridge to Creise. Great views on top, particularly of Ranoch Moor. Came back the same way. Had a quick drink in the newly rebuilt Kingshouse.tsharp04/05/2019

From Glencoe Mountain Resort (NN 26643 52513) - Meall a' Bhuiridh - Mam Coire Easain - Creise. Usual route under the chairlift then the long slog to the summit of Meall a' Bhuiridh. Enjoyable, easy scramble up to Mam Coire Easain then very little ascent along the ridge to the summit of Creise. Ascent via Coire an Easain. Not recommended! Intention was to meet Dave Hewitt\'s 25th anniverary traverse of the Watershed celebration on Clach Lethad, but the steep grass slopes had wet fresh snow on them. Did this with Al. Drove over from Aberdeen and started about 1.30. Dreadful day with very high winds and blizzards and snow on the tops. Opted for easy route up along the chairlifts and enjoyed seeing some folk practicing for a downhill mountain bike championship. I'd have gone down after the first one but A was keen to go on and battled our way out to Creise and back. The scrambling stuff was easy - staying upright in the wind was not. Ascent of Meall a' Bhuiridh with Robin Howie and many of his friends. This was the final hill of Robin's seventh round of Munros. A large number of friends were present and the ascent was to be televised. We assembled at the car park at bottom of chair lift and left after the start had been filmed two or three times. We walked up the hill, whilst the television crew took the chair lift. More filming took place as we crossed the flattish part going SW to the N ridge. It then was very misty so it became difficult to see those coming behind. I stayed behind to ensure that the television crew knew where to go. However the television crew turned back and did not reach the summit. A helicopter had been hired, but the conditions were not suitable for the planned flight to take pictures of the party on the summit. I ascended to the summit and joined the rest of the party there. We had lunch there and descended via the ascent route. In the evening there was a celebration meal at the Kingshouse.pwbellarby24/07/1999

On this walk: Coire Ghline- Coire Ghiubhasan- Clach Leathad- Creise- Meall a'Bhuiridh- Creag Dubh- Coire Ghline. With Pete. This, the highest summit of the day, was reached by a very good ridgewalk, quite narrow in places after it left the S ridge of Creise. Apart from the ridgewalking on the Blackamount, a good feature of this approach was that the ski developments did not intrude badly in the views, including the spectacular view over Rannoch Moor. Sunshine and cloud by the time we got here.pwheeler01/06/1990

High avalanche risk - recent fatalities - chose a steep snowy/rocky scramble up the nose of Creise trying to link rocks together to try to keep to safer ground - worrying then around to Meall a'Bhuiidh above the ski slpes where I had had first try at skiing yesterday from someone who I met in the hostel who had been once before . Lots of falling over and sit down turns- good fun.Chris Pearson06/01/1986

Walked up from the ski centre and came back via the nose of Creise - interesting descent. Repeated in 1988 and 1991 (using the chairlift in both cases).SS05/05/1984

Cairngorm Club weekend meet. With Geraldine Guest and Robin Howie. From NN252548. Walked into Càm Ghleann. We crossed a burn with difficulty and then ascended steeply up to Stob a' Ghlais Choire. Went on to Creise, Mam Coire Easain, and Clach Leathad. Returned to Mam Coire Easain where Geraldine went on to do Beinn Mhic Chasgaig. Robin and I continued to Meall a' Bhùiridh and descended to White Corries. Much snow overnight. Snow level ~3000´. Tops clear, but much mist elsewhere.pwbellarby16/10/1983
From car park of ski road at Kingshouse. By side of chair lift. Debris everywhere. Like visiting an empty theatre. Mostly over rocks on a gentle slope. Coffee at top tow building sheltering from strong gusty wind. Scramble to top. To Leathad.arranc27/05/1983

Final day of Arduous training. I ripped the seat out of my cut down school trousers which were my walking breeches. I had to wear my long red cagoule for modesty in the Kingshouse. When the Scout Challenge Hike took me/us almost to the summit again in May 1969 I stayed at the checkpoint for a rest whilst Mike G slipped off to bag the Munro summit.langskill03/04/1969
