Parked on Green at Wasdale and up via Black Sails path. Lunch in shelter overlooking Ennerdale. Down the NW ridge to bag the Synge at White Pike, then back down to Wasdale the same way with minor detour to bag Pillar East Top, a Simpson 2000 foot historic top, which is sadly not shown on this site. Pint and meal in Ritsons Bar at the Wasdale Head Inn, which is much quieter on a Monday in February than in summer or school holidays.Hillsidenick25/02/2019
Final peak of the day. Started Seathwaite, Base Brown, Great Gable, Kirk Fell and finally Pillar. Superb day. Descended path before Black Crag slid down the scree, over to Wasdale then up to Sty Tarn and back. 14 miles, not a cloud. Superb walking. Company: Soloiandesbottes15/02/2019
