Final Crinkle, after the bad step, it still looks unclimeable until you start down. Noticed easier path to the right of 2nd Crinkle.Never seen on previous crossings due to fog!Karmakarl24/06/2018

Afternoon ascent from NT campsite in Langdale of Shelter Crags North Top (775m) via the band. On to Shelter Crags (815m) as the weather became overcast, then Crinkle Crags - Long Top (859m), and Crinkle Crags South Top (834m) with nasty scramble as descended through cloud towards final peak of the outing, Great Knott (696m). Returned to Langdale. 12.3Km, 791m ascent.VirtualMountain10/05/2018

Nuttall route from Great Knott to Shelter Crags. In the clag throughout, so lots and lots of compass work. Great fun!huwthomas06/11/2017
