From Wasdale up Moses' Trod Path to Sty Head. Over the Corridor Route (thanks Dave for the help on the tricky downhill bad step). Up Round How, quite a steep grassy bank. Onto Middleboot Knotts then over Piers Gill and up Lingmell. Back to Wasdale via SW shoulder which is really steep in places. Windy but sunny all day.Glenelg12/05/2016
Walked from Wasdale Head on my own. Eerie by the time I got to this fell. I had been above the cloud in sunshine on Scafell Pike and Great End but as I left the crowds to bag this fell the sun went in and the mist was swirling round so this fell kept coming and going from view as I approached it. It feels strange leaving the crowds to go on a very faint path down some scree before climbing this fell but it isn't long before you drop down to the corridor route near Pier's Gill and join a good path again.flockwatcher03/10/2015

From Gt Langdale campsite, with Penda. 12.5 miles, 7 hrs 45 mins. Via Esk Hause. On to Middleboot Knotts. Sunny day with plenty of snow about, hundreds of people on main tracks to The Pike (Easter Saturday) but not a soul over the back. Long day but great fun!beorwulf04/04/2015
Second top of a 10 hour sweltering day! Started up Styhead to Looking Steads on Glaramara, then contoured back to Round How,which I definitely hadn't done before. Finished by scrambling up to Broad Crag & Scafell Pike, then Lord's Rake to Symonds Knott. Just Pillar Rock to finish the Nuttalls now.signyred26/07/2014
